Bed and Breakfast D'Angelo 

The bed and breakfast is in a great location and is run by excellent hosts. Just a 10 minute walk from the central station, it is a good place to start exploring the city. Most major sights are within a 20-30 minute walk from the place and there are many of bars and restaurants in the area. Situated on the second floor of an older building, it is decorated tastefully and was very clean. The host is a very nice guy, who showed my to my room, as well as where the 2 bathrooms were located. He was having trouble with his bank, so asked for cash, rather than card payment, and even gave me a small reduction for this problem. Great customer service!! The room was fairly large, with very high ceilings, so you didn't feel cramped. There was a wardrobe, desk, bedside cabinet, TV and fridge. There was also AC and a ceiling fan, so the room was nice and cool, despite the hot weather. My room, number 8, was to the side of the building and with the large doors closed, the street noise was very quiet, so sleeping was fine. Your bed and linen are not changed everyday, unless you ask but that was not an issue. As I said, there were 2 bathrooms, and I never had to wait, to use one. Overall, this is a really good choice of accommodation, and I would be more than happy to stay here again, if I go back to Palermo.
