This place is not badly located , but it’s not a B&B , the host is unfriendly only caring about the money , cannot call it a breakfast as it’s cakes bought in lidl you have to help yourself  from cupboard , check in is at 7pm maximum then 15 euros. There are many better places in Catania with more friendly host too.


Not a B&B avoid it

The place is very well accessible - close and easy from the mail railway station. The zone just ok, almost all Palermo is the same. But the staff is very welcome and organized. It is safe and clean.
The only two thing which have to be fixed are:
first definitely have to install an air condition - it is cold and not comfortable
and second - to buy new tv because all the time this is up and down.

Cheap and clean B&B. Good location, 
Its a classic old building of Palermo. Francesco ( the owner)is very nice and helpful, clean bathroom. And good environment. Fully recommend.

Nice and clean B&B

This was a slightly odd place to stay for our one night in Palermo. Initially we manged to get ourselves a little lost on our way to the B&B and ended up in what seemed to be quite a dodgy area of the city, however once we found the correct street the location of the actual appartment seemed to be perfectly ok. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful, he was happy to show us where everything was. I don't think we were expecting him to then leave us to it. In fact, we had rented the whole flat for the night for a mere £25. The bedroom and bathrooms were both clean and of a reasonable size. The furnishings are maybe a little old fashioned, but that is quite usual in small Italian hotels and actually just add character to the rooms. The air-con was brilliantly effective, a relief as were weren't used to the Palermo heat on our first night in the city. There was a fair bit of street noise which lasted until pretty late, again though this is 100% usual for hotels in Italian cities and is something that I find rather enjoyable to listen to. The breakfast was a little disappointing, it was all 'help yourself' from the fridge and the cupboard. The coffee was very good, but the choice of actual food was minimal and not particularly exciting. It was also a little strange to be using an open carton of milk from a fridge in, what was essentially, a stranger's fridge. It would have been nice if there had been a fresh carton of milk available. Also the fridge itself could probably do with a bit of a clean as it was a little grubby and oddly had a few bowls of left-overs in it. All of this added to the feeling of squatting in someone else's home. The Wi-fi worked very well as did the TV, with a good selection of Italian channels, maybe the TV could have done with being slightly larger though as it had to be perched on top of the wardrobe in order to maintain signal and this made watching it in bed a little difficult. The number of CCTV cameras in the corridors were a little unnerving, especially as you have to leave the room to use the loo in the night! Overall this was a good, if basic place to stay in the city. The location is good (so long as you don't get lost), the room rate is as good as you are going to get and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would happily book here again for a longer stay in the city, just be aware that you are essentially house sitting for a stranger.

A basic but nice little place to stay in Palermo

No sign outside, a single room (not too bad indeed but not very clean), the owner is not particularly kind and breakfast was not enough (a few cheap brioches, code in the fridge and no service at all). It is cheap but that's not enough. We will not come back again.
