LOVED staying with Alessia! This place had several things going for it. First, an amazing location just a few minutes walk from the center where Piazza November is located. Next, Alessia oozed charm and caring---she has that quality that you hope the owner of your bed and breakfast will have but frequently don't, where they give you the feeling that  they actually really care that you have the perfect stay. Just really sweet, like you were staying with your favorite Aunt. Great with emails before the trip and assistance with dinner reservations.  Fabulous bathrooms. And bonus points----she drove us to the train station to catch our train! Who does that? Again, stay here if you want to get that feeling that you're staying with family.

Superb Location and Charming Host

The accommodation is located at the entrance to the old city in the medieval building. Alessia, the hoster, was very helpful, friendly, and joyful to chat with. The rooms were clean and had everything you think of. Alessia made us feel like visiting our close family.

Book this place, you will not regret

For a week stay, I chose the cosy room "Sguardo verso il cielo",  which has a small terrace, a private bathroom, a comfortable double bed and a hallway room with basin. There is also a nice refreshments room for taking breakfast as a common area for guests. Thanks to the very kind hosts Alessia and Enrico, the stay was very pleasant, starting from the freshly baked tasty homemade cakes made daily by Alessia, paired with a tasty cappuccino or coffe for breakfast, to the many suggestions about where to eat for lunch and dinner, to the nice chat with the hosts which as I said above are very kind and helpful. They really gave me a warm welcome to the city and I hope to come back to Perugia soon. Alla maison di Alessia is a must, in the heart of Italy!

A place to keep up with peace of mind, close to all the amenities of Perugia

This B&B is a special place because of the owners Alessia and her husband Enrico. They are such elegant and absolutley caring souls. They spread light. The maison di Alessia is right in the historic center of Perugia, across the street of the University for foreigners. Alessia keeps it herself superclean, bakes every day a special cake for her guests and feels like a secure port and a good reliable friend. You  just know she does genuinley care as well as Enrico about every single one of her guests. It is a place where her great grand mother, her grand mother and her mother were born. There is a beautiful Italian signore and his dog on the street infront of the house taking care of a little garden right at the border of the street. All the neighbours know him and his dog. They greet him by his name Italo. This magical place and its wonderful beings will stay with me. Grazie mille. I have learned a lot from you 💙

Loving kindness

I and my wife booked at this wonderful B&B for two nights at the middle of July 2019. The place is located in a perfect location in the heart of Perugia, from it you can reach in few minutes walking all the historical areas of the city. They have a private parking included in the price very handy and safe. The B&B is restored and furnished with an elegant taste. We were surprised by the spotless of the bedrooms! the breakfast is huge and tasty, with the chance to choose continental or salty one. The hosts are very kind and very helpful. Fantastic Accommodation in the heart of Perugia

The most friendly, informative hosts you could ever wish for. We had four nights at Alla Maison di Alessia and right from the moment of our first enquiry to our farewell this morning we were totally amazed by the prompt replies, answers to questions and hospitality from Alessia. We were collected from the station on a Sunday afternoon, two trips as there were four of us plus luggage, greeted warmly at that time and for the whole four days. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and we had the best bed in our five week stay in Italy now at an end. See you later alligator!! Part of our teaching australiana to Alessia and her helping incredibly with our very poor Italian. C Ya too Enrico!!!! 

Alessia and Enrico super hosts!

On a 10-day family trip to Perugia, we chose Alessia's B & B because of the great reviews available online and we were stunned with the outstanding experience we had, which exceeded our expectations: it is the best place we have ever stayed up to date. Alessia and her husband Enrico are special people, with a precious gift to receive and welcome their guests. Alessia promptly guided us about places to visit in Perugia, as well as on the types of transport and schedules for tours in the cities close to Perugia. Besides being very helpful, Alessia sorted out a driver that took us by car to visit some of the surrounding villages with restricted public transport. As to the B&B facilities, it is very well located, close to Perugia old center and good restaurants; the rooms are excellent (we used two), quiet, cleaned every day, full of detail in the beautiful decor, with very comfortable mattress and bedding. Overall, it is a cozy place with warmth environment and amazing breakfast. Alessia provided breakfast according to our personal taste and she made cakes (delicious!) and kindly made special gluten and dairy free cakes for our daughter. Moreover, cakes, fruits, yogurt, cereals, cookies, snacks, water, tea and coffee were available throughout the day. The sympathy of Alessia and Enrico (who sometimes was there too) made the breakfast an enjoyable and fun time. When we left, Enrico kindly helped us with our luggage and took us to the airport, which is located in Assisi. We left Perugia with the feeling of having left two great friends. Although we have already said that personally, we would like to reinforce that we would feel honored in welcoming you in our home when you decide to visit Brazil; thank you Alessia and Enrico.

10-day family trip to Perugia, Italy

Alessia and Enrico have been the epitome of host and hostess, they are a credit to Perugia's B&B industry so many could learn so much about hospitality from this Lady. 
We have had 7 delightful days where nothing has been too much effort, they have welcomed our friends and continually made sure we were happy and comfortable. Walking distance to all the best eating and tourist spots, the stairs in the town have given us a much needed physical workout after a three week cruise. 
This quaint unique B&B with comfortable spotless clean facilities in the heart of Perugia has been an absolute delight to visit

Best Hostess 

On our trip to Perugia we stayed at this  B&B for 2 nights. From the beginning Enrico and Alessia made us feel like part of family which was great! The bedrooms are unique in design and very clean. For breakfast there is a small dining area to eat breakfast which has everything even homemade delicious pastries made by Alessia. The location is convenient at Piazza Maggiore only 10 minutes by foot to the center( near the ancient Arco di Augusto). They are very helpful and give you advice on where to eat authentic umbria cuisine. In the  evening the place is pretty quite for you to relax and have a good nights rest. We highly recommend this B&B.

Artful and Vibrant place 

We recently stayed at B&B Alla Maison di Alessia and upon arrival we were greeted by Enrico, her husband, who was kind enough to meet us at the bus station and take our luggage to our room.
 
We stayed in Nido d’Amore (Love Nest), which is their largest and nicest room. The room comes with a private bathroom included with body wash, a TV, a mini fridge packed with water and yogurt, a coffee table, and a snack shelf loaded with croissants, toast, Nutella, biscuits, chips, honey, tea, and coffee. The room was cleaned daily.

We have stayed in many B&Bs throughout Italy including in Venice, Florence, and Rome, and Alessia's Bed and Breakfast was by far the best one we have encountered in Italy. We have paid more at other ones and didn't even get half the service or hospitality we got with Alessia and Enrico. The price is worth every Euro.
I loved the colors of our room and the matching towels that came with a chocolate treat from Perugia. Alessia truly has an eye for decoration, given that she designed the rooms herself.

The location is perfect since it is across the street from the University for Foreigners of Perugia and the Cioccolateria Gelateria Augusta Perusia, which has one of Perugia's finest chocolates and gelato. The B&B is also right in front of the bus station, which is really convenient when trying to get to the train station. Alessia and Enrico even helped us with our bus and train schedules when we went to Spello, Assisi, and Rome. They told us all about the city of Perugia and what restaurants to eat at. Our favorite was Pizza Mediterranea. 

Breakfast was our favorite time, especially since Alessia went out of her way to prepare us the type of breakfast we liked. As Americans, we usually don't have just a croissant and cappuccino. She made our breakfast plate with 2 eggs and brought us different selections of cheese and cured Italian meats, including those from the region of Perugia. She also prepared our coffee, whether we wanted a cappuccino or espresso and there was always plenty of juice, water, and snacks to choose from. We spent time talking about both our cultures and had conversations in both English and Italian. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. Enrico even helped us with our luggage on our last day and they both waited with us for the bus after buying us gelato. I will definitely only stay at Alessia’s B&B if I visit Perugia again.
