Despite some negative reviews, we decided to try it out for a weekend in the mountains. What to say it was noticed everything except what I had read in some reviews, clean and well maintained room just the mattress a little uncomfortable, heating on and the environment kept constantly warm. We enjoyed the half-pension beyond the cost of eating well.

The appearance (of some reviews) is misleading.

would like to start with the fact that my horse was amazing. She was careful and kind and guided me very well. But the human guides were absolutly terrible and careless. There were 10 people in the group with 2 guides. We did not get any information. They did not ask about our experiences. They just let us go. During the trip a wild animal scared the horses which made them panic and ran in every direction. I managed to stay on, another person was thrown off. Instead of caring about people the guides just laughed very hard. I started to feel very unsafe because of their reactions and lack of communication. My horse got bitten by the other horses and started to take other routes to avoid them and running. I got really scared and asked the female guide for help. She did nothing. She did not even respond. I started to panic, cry and scream for help. I wanted to get off. Nobody helped me. Worst human guides in the world. Unsafe and extremly unprofessional. No after care. No care at all.

Nightmare horse ride

My daughter spent five days at the beginning of January with her family, she didn 't want to leave any more. Good grounds, well cooked with plenty of portions.

Excellent homemade cuisine with dishes typical of Abruzzian tradition such as the Arrosticini and the Married Potatoes, very suggestive the journey of about an hour in the woods with the horse and the ride with the pony for the little ones, we had a really nice day, we will definitely be back!

Typical cuisine and horseback riding

I don't recommend it at all. Empathy-free and selfless people. They didn't ask anyone if it was the first experience on horseback. The ride was a nightmare for my friends, wet horses, no maintenance of the saddle and stables, so much so that a lady fell off her horse precisely because the saddle wasn't tied properly. They personally gave me a horse and I was dragged by a guide all the time. Without telling me anything at all. The horse they were supposed to have absolutely didn't want to walk! I was literally dragged by a rope all the time.

Traumatic horseback riding

My husband and I happened to be having lunch, going to see a TPR rally of horses. The prices, of course, are a bit higher than average. But we ate very well. The service was very fast even though the room was full. The plates in the norm, I can't say either abundant or scarce. We liked the place. We found it nice and comfortable. The only new ones are actually a little off-market prices compared to other restaurants in the area that have nothing to envy in terms of quality.

The thing that won't make us come back is the total disorganization of the staff: 1) we ordered from a standard menu, but then they asked us to change the menu by bringing him a pencil writing 2) a highly ambiguous employee who drank to death and who bothered us all night at the restaurant and even after night 3) the owner's son who threw himself at our table, disturbing us all night and insisting that we play with his toys

I'm not sure.

The service is really pathetic, the prices are disproportionate (e.g. a first part for € 16, two slices of ham 5€, half a litre of wine from the house 15€).

I have a nightmare.

My wife and our Lagotto Romagnolo stayed at the Vallecupa Rural Farmhouse for a week in mid-June with half-pension treatment. We immediately realized how much the owner is fond of its structure and attentive to the clientele. Room not very large but clean and orderly, courteous and available staff, but the strong point is undoubtedly the kitchen, exquisite dinners and plentiful portions. Excellent quality/price ratio. Sure if we have the chance we will return.

It's a perfect vacation.

Location fatiguing... bad food at biblical prices... not to mention the owner's rude and rude manners.
