108 reviewsWe stayed here for a couple of nights during a 2-week Italian road trip (in September 2014). We found that Albergo del Sangro was an excellent place to stay for the following reasons: - Very good location, very easy to find, excellent off-road parking that is very easy to use (no long winding dirt tracks like many other accomodations in Italy) - Again on location, Pescasseroli is a very nice, peaceful area with many great walks. Perfect for hiking in the summer! Very little other tourists there which for me was a good thing but each to their own. - Staff are very pleasant, even though we were English-speaking and spoke very little Italian, they were very patient with us and helped us where possible. Even made us a free cup of tea when we came back soaking wet after getting caught up in a storm during our walk. - The room was clean, tidy, good value for what we paid and most importantly quiet. Not sure how quiet it is when many other people are staying there however, but there are no main roads/train lines near by. The room is not huge but we did not need it to be - and is fine for two people - and again, for what we paid it is good value. - Continental breakfast, no problems here... - Working WIFI Thanks for a nice stay. If I ever come back in the Winter, remember you need to ski with me down the black piste ... ! ha
