The views from the balconies are breathtaking- GREAT breakfast- excellent location - The Team there were amzing too -very informative - helpful- and friendly- HIGHLY recommend this place- a REAL Gem with so much history 

AMAzing GEM!

It was a little bit hard to find the way up to the hotel entrance, but with help of the neighbours we succeeded. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is good. Staff was very helpful. Pieve di Cadore is an interesting small village with history.

Good service, fantastic view

I booked to stay two nights via the Internet, I was really excited seeing how well positioned in the town the hotel was, but our room was a tiny dark one tucked round the side, we could barely walk round the bed! I admit I had not asked for a room with a view, but still did not expect such a pokey side room.
The cost was much the same as any other place we had stayed, but on reflection we should have asked for a lesser rate due to the size and position of the room.
In other respects: the parking for our car was good, the sitting rooms downstairs were very comfortable, and the breakfast was good.
We would not return due to the poor room - very clean but tiny.

Wonderful Position - a pity about the room

You're instantly comfortable and you're very welcome. The rooms are clean, convenient and quiet. The very good food and the ambiance of the rooms create a great atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Thank you.

Charming hotel with a very nice view

Although it may seem like a nice hotel to renovate, the interior is clean, warm and the rooms assigned to the guest rooms (103-106-107 and 108) offered a wonderful view.

Great location and super nice staff.

It's a very special hotel found by accident. Discrete rooms with everything you need for a quick stay. Very competitive price. Hyper-quiet location. Maybe hard to find at first glance. Very nice staff. The restaurant will try it on the next round but I think it's good quality because we had dinner in a restaurant of the same management with satisfaction.

A quick motorcycle ride

This small hotel is run by a very friendly family. Giovanni and Paola speak English which is great to find in Italy.  We arrived at the train station and soon realized it would be difficult to find a bus to get us to the hotel. We called the hotel and Giovanni quickly picked us up. I room has a beautiful view of the mountains and we can hear the church bells ring down below in the little town. Our rental bikes will be delivered tonight and the hotel will happily store them for us. Our bed is very comfortable and our bathroom and room are spotlessly clean. There's a foosball table downstairs and on the main level there are very nice places to sit and take in the view. Free Wi-Fi and an excellent price. We hope to make this a place we visit often while we are living in Italy.  Tomorrow, we will take the bus and our bikes to the top of the mountain and then ride it on the bike trail back down. Very excited to find this hotel and this friendly nice town. 

Bike adventure and escape from heat

Excellent structure, friendly staff, available and prepared, old-fashioned but neat and elegant furnishings, clean and comfortable rooms, great location to get to the center of the country and the various places for excursions.

It's a great stay.

The hotel is very simple and essential. The view from the third floor, where we had the room, is very suggestive. The room was clean and retro furnished, which combines the whole hotel, and had everything essential (including the phon). As for the restaurant, I found the service quite good: the staff is courteous and available and the food is good. We had some problems with the order of the doors but nothing relevant. Overall it was all very efficient. There is the elevator and the Wifi service, which will give you directions on arrival. It is definitely a hotel that I recommend precisely because I had nothing to laugh at, it is certainly modest but everything works as it should.

Modest and efficient!

The room was clean,the breakfast was average, and it is close to the central part of town. The problem was when we went to pay. They tried to charge us for twice as many nights as we were there. That was an easy mistake to correct. Then they tried to charge us for an extra half-board. Finally, we realized after we paid, they ended up charging us 10 extra euros. It wasn't worth the hassle to try to get the money back. Just check your bill and make sure to have the prices clarified.
