Beware! Cancelled our stay within 1 month of travel “due to overbooking” but we booked many months ago. Avoid for peace of mind. I wish someone had posted this review before we booked. Do not add the stress to your holiday. Other hotels now much more expensive.

Beware of cancellation

Very clean and friendly. Yes, it’s basic, but great for a night or two. Basic breakfast, enough to get you started. 

It’s very near the railway station, in a large block with shops at the bottom. There is a bell that you need to ring. You need to get up to the 7th floor (key is needed for lift, but owner lets you in the first time and then you get your own key). 

It’s really central and we walked everywhere. 20 min to leaning tower (max). It’s a 20-30 min walk from the airport (1.1 miles). Alternatively, you can take the pisa mover (driverless train), which takes around 10 minutes but costs 5 euros per person (incl kids). 

Great base for Pisa, v friendly

Perfect for a sleepover in Pisa, close to the railway station for the PisaMover to the airport and trains elsewhere. We had a comfortable room with ‘tower view’ and a separate but private bathroom.  Our host spoke little English but this was not a problem and he made us great coffee to go with our simple but adequate breakfast. The tower is just 20 minutes walk away and there are plenty of restaurants closer for dinner.

Perfect Pisan Sleepover ...

We have stayed at B&B Scotti for two nights. It was a spacious room with two single beds, A/C and a simple, small bathroom. Our room did not have a view but the owner let us see the nice view over Pisa in another room when that was free. The owner was friendly but speaks very little English. He tried to explain everything to us about the accomodation. Breakfast is very basic. Mostly sweet buns in separate plastic wraps. You can have some marmalade or Nutella. Tea bags of one choice. Or juice in a package. The B&B is a couple minutes away from the Pisa train station. From the station to the airport with the shuttle takes only 10 minutes! The area is a quiet place compared to other bigger cities. To the Pisa tower is like 20 min walk.

Simple but close to train station of Pisa

Only stayed for one night, functional and served its purpose for visiting Pisa and the train station. Very basic on all counts and would only recommend for a very short stay, area not brilliant although some decent restaurants close by

Basic but functional

This is a very centrally located property within shouting distance of the railway station, so ideal for short stay over.
The elderly gentleman who owns the place speaks no/ very limited English, but is extremely pleasant. I agree with the previous review that the breakfast is basic, but it does the job.His coffee more than makes up for it. We were there during the " Lucifer" heatwave and the free chilled water was a lifesaver!
Views from the window are panoramic, with the Leaning Tower visible framed by the Apeninnes in the background. Indeed, a walk to the tower probably takes 20-25 mins taking in picturesque views of the river Arno.
In addition,there are frequent trains to Florence which are reasonably priced, double-decked and have good air conditioning. If you are going to see main attractions such as Michelangelo's David, book tickets in advance. We were so glad we did as the queue was massive, whereas we walked straight in after about 5 mins.

Very reasonable price and great base to explore.

Stayed for 3 nights. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Breakfast provided but felt it was very basic, pre-packaged croissants, crisp breads etc, jam, cartons of juice. The guy who meets you at property is friendly but speaks no English. Good location close to train station.

Good location

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in a spacious room for around 60 USD!

Room has a beautiful view of Pisa and the Tower. The place is also close to the central station and many restaurants. Only thirty minutes to the tourist sites, too!

The breakfast was just pastries, juices, biscuits, and coffee, but for the price, nothing to complain about. Thanks for the stay!
