Positano is our first stop in Italy. We knew we are arriving before the start of the winter so we looked for a place that's not necessarily too close to the beach. Casa Maresca is situated between the highest point (Chiesa Nuova stop) where the SITA bus stops and the beach, which is the perfect base for our activities. It's close to a few good restos and is a good walk to the famous Cafe Positano resto. Our room is clean and has enough space for the three luggage we brought. There were clean towels provided every day (except for the last night). 

We got to use our private balcony one night during dinner and it was a lovely experience.

There is a small kitchen but we did not use it much except to prepare our own sandwiches.

Lucia was such a good host. She was attentive and accommodating to our inquiries. 

Overall, I recommend this place if you want to be situated in the middle area of Positano and plan to use the SITA buses for trips to other towns of the Amalfi coast.

Lovely quaint stay in Positano

This place is so much nicer than the photos. The room was exceptionally clean and has a wonderful balcony with a fab view over Positiano. The location is good about 15 mins walk from the centre in a quietier area near good restaurants and hotels, away from the bustling crowds. It is also closer to Fornillo beach which is far nicer than the main beach. The room and kitchen had all amenities, plates, cups, towels, a hair dryer, toiletries, and little extras from the owners such as water, tea, and coffee. The owner was so lovely and cudnt do enough for you.   It is also very reasonably priced for Positiano for such a nice view.

Great place👌

Fabulous spot to stay in Positano.  Francesca and her family were welcoming, helpful, and rooms spotless and comfortable.  But the crowning jewel was the extensive veranda off the bedrooms with a spectacular view.  We spent many hours on the veranda relaxing with wine and snacks.  Highly recommend!

Wonderful Hotel in Positano

This is the best place you could possibly stay in Positano. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was so clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a third bed in the sitting room which was also extremely comfortable- the three of us had more than enough room. The location is perfection- right off the road in Fornillo and the views are quite simply breathtaking. The apartment was equipped with everything you needed- towels, AC great, all kitchen utensils etc.  Lucia, Paul and Francesca were also lovely and it was a pleasure to meet them. I have been to Positano four times now and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on my next visits. Highly highly recommend!

The perfect place to stay

From the moment we arrived in Positano and were greeted by Lucia,  Paul and Francesca,  we knew we selected the perfect place and location. Our accommodations were perfect!

The apartment was so charming and spacious. We had 2 bedrooms, our own bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a sitting room we were able to use as a 3rd bedroom when our friend visited from Milan.  

The best of all was our lovely view of sea and the hillsides of Positano from our own private balcony.  

When you step out of Casa Maresca, you're at the PERFECT location right off the main road. Not too high up or low from the beach. The bus pick up is right up the street and you are right in the center of several amazing restaurants. When heading to the beach we enjoyed the 15 minute walk and picked up gelato along the way and soaked up the incredible view.

Lucia and Paul took such good care of us and we can’t wait to come back and stay again. We highly recommend Casa Maresca for your stay in Positano!

Casa Maresca is the BEST!

Great stay at Casa Maresca. Perfect location with convenient access to both Positano beaches and the centre of town. Spacious and clean bedroom and large bathroom. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to all our questions, offering good local advice. Will definitely be back!

Casa Maresca review

This was my mine and my husbands first trip down to southern Italy and we stayed here about 5 nights. Let me just start by saying the hosts are ABSOLUTELY amazing people and so accommodating and friendly. They helped us out so much and even welcomed us there personally Sunday night around 12am! They gave us fantastic recommendations and helped us to navigate Positano and overall made our experience that much better. The AC in the room is also the best I have ever had in Italy honestly it gets COLD in the room at night and quickly with that AC. Also after comparing places on Airbnb to hotels my husband and I decided on this place because it was extremely competitive price wise with places listed on Airbnb and right up the street there is a parking lot where you can leave your car for all the nights you stay at Casa Maresca! It was perfect for us and it is just much more convenient to just leave your car up in the parking lot than to park on the street. This place is minutes from beautiful beaches and wonderful places to eat and the view from Casa Maresca is breath taking! My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay here and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Positano! 

Amazing place to stay in Positano 

So many wonderful things to say about this place! It was our second stay with friends at Paul & Lucia’s Casa Maresca.  Above all, they are the most warm and welcoming hosts that you feel like you are with family. The views from the balcony are spectacular.  It is mid-way up but not a bad walk down to the main shopping area. There are several good restaurants nearby as well as a nice market and little bakery.  The prices are most reasonable, the accommodations are pristine clean with recent modern and Lucia checks in to ensure comfort with regularity. They will assist you with transportation and restaurant recommendations and anything you might need.   I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Positano.  Thanks Paul and Lucia for another par excellent stay with you in 2019. Hope to see you again this year. Rik & Dee Rasmussen

Casa Maresca is MARVELOUS!!!

Stayed September 2019 everything about our stay was amazing. Accommodation was excellent, our host was lovely and the views were breath taking. This accommodation was better than the pictures on line.

Just spent 4 nights at Casa Maresca in 2 br apt with another family member. It is spotless with great a/c , very roomy bedrooms and comfy mattresses.  
Lucia and Paul are wonderful, down to earth people and so helpful. If you do book , do so directly with them as you will get personalized service and quick response to questions. It’s halfway up the long winding road but only about 15 steps down from main road which is a gift in Positano!!!  Great places to eat just steps away so you don’t have to venture down to the main beach at night.  So peaceful in a very touristy village.... please stay there and give them your business as they are wonderful, warm people
