The Masseria has exquisitely designed, spacious rooms that offer both beauty and comfort. The attention to detail in the tasteful furnishings creates a stylish ambience. The Masseria is an oasis of calm and a place where we felt comfortable.
The hosts are a wonderful blend of warm hospitality and respectful discretion. They were always available for questions or recommendations and manage the perfect balancing act between courtesy and tranquillity. Every morning, the hosts treated us to a sumptuous breakfast of fresh fruit and local delicacies from Salento to get the day off to a delightful start.
Cleanliness is a hallmark of this accommodation, found in every corner. The meticulous maintenance is evident everywhere. This dedication to care enhanced our overall experience.

Hidden gem

Fantastic stay in a very well maintained and welcoming masseria. The rooms are tastefully decorated with plenty of space and all the amenities you need, a private bathroom with window which we found very pleasant. The facilities and rooms are incredibly clean and are tidied daily. The rooms have air conditioning, but are pleasantly cool even without it. Each room has a private entrance and a covered terrace where you can also sit comfortably. The beautiful infinity pool also invites to relax and is, like everything else, very well maintained. The hosts Maria-Rosaria and Bartolomeo are very friendly, professional and helpful and gave us many tips for sightseeing and events in the area. In the morning they serve a rich breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and local homemade savoury and sweet treats. Our time here was exceptional. The place and the people invite to unwind. Fantastic vacation in a magnificent place with lovely hosts

Excellent owners with a very kind and helpful approach. Nice surroundings and a peaceful area. The pool is beautiful and large enough with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds. The apartment was nice and clean, beds are comfy.
There was only one smaller aircon in the main room of the apartment and it took time to get the bedrooms cool enough when outside temperature was above 30 celsius day and night.

Excellent stay with helpful and friendly hosts

Located closely to the village and easy to reach with own parking area ( secured ).
Thanks to Bartolomeo and Maria Rosaria we had a wonderful and very pleasant stay in their Antica Masseria Pescu. Room nr 1 was well equipped, clean, spacious with a complete bathroom. The breakfast was more than complete prepared by Maria Rosaria and her staff. ( nice homemade cakes, pies and marmalade ). A very nice place to stay with a great swimming pool. An absolute must ! also thanks to Vesuvio Tour Amsterdam. Well recommended. Try also their own olive oil.

Lovely place with wunderfull hosts

As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in luxury 5-star hotels and backpacker hostels alike. I've learned what to expect based on the place I go to and the price I pay. Well let me tell you, this venue exceeded my expectations.

It already started with the booking process and the communication prior to our arrival. It was very smooth, fast, transparent, and personal; a taste of the kind of service experienced throughout our stay.

We were lucky to score the Scirocco lodge. A large, modern room with a bathroom that included a bidet as well as a huge shower (awesome water pressure!) with a small window; a sleep area with a comfortable bed and plenty of space for our clothes and objects; a small but well equipped kitchen where we made our own breakfasts and sometimes a lunch or a dinner; air conditioning and a ceiling fan; a small patio with a table for 2 and a lounge chair. It was too hot to hang out there, but we used the space to store our sport equipment or hang our laundry (a public laundromat is available in the neighborhood). If we had to find something to recommend for improvement, it would probably be the installation of wifi repeaters in the rooms, where reception is weak. Mobile reception is good but if you don't have an Italian SIM, it can get costly in roaming charges...

Covered, private parking is available inside the fenced area near the room, but we were able to drive it up right in front of the room door to load & unload it.
The venue also has a swimming pool for use of all the guests (not many, considering they can host up to 22 people). We only used it once, and enjoyed it a ton as it was around sunset time and the light was great.

Bartolomeo and his wife Maria Rosaria are wonderful hosts. Extremely helpful and kind, they went above & beyond to help and give advice, available both in person or via WhatsApp. We received tons of recommendations for places to go to, discounts for restaurants, and had a couple of pleasant chats.

The venue is located at the border of the pretty town of Presicce, and many pretty towns and beaches can be reached in short drives. 

Overall, 5 star review for a wonderful stay and experience. 

A wonderful stay for a long awaited vacation

Bartolomeo and his wife Maria Rosaria could not have been better hosts! They did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable, from giving recommendations/organising boat trips, to providing delicious homemade dishes as part of the daily breakfast spread! The accommodation was attractive, comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this to other people! Guy and Caroline

Wonderful hosts, lovely place!

After a weeks stay we wanted to say thank you for the incredible breakfasts, the beautiful pool, the always spotless room. And the little touches, you were the best hosts we’ve ever experienced and nothing was ever too much... You took extra care of my pregnant wife and you made sure I had a special birthday. We will definitely be back and we would without hesitation recommend this to our friends :)

A beautiful place run by beautiful people

Maria Rosaria and Bartolomeo were great hosts - very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a beautiful selection of savoury and sweet Italian foods, with plenty of excellent local fresh fruit too. Choice of coffee is available (eg Espresso, Cappucino etc). The property is renovated to a very high standard and was cleaned spotlessly each day. The property has a lovely infinity pool overlooking the local countryside, with comfortable sun loungers and parasols available. Great access to restaurants in Presicce and Acquarica serving traditional Puglian cuisine. All in all a great stay!

Great stay - beautiful property and pool and well positioned to see the Salento

This is my favorite place of all time. The hosts was so helpful, service minded and kind. I want to come back, because Salento has a lot to offer and Antica Masseria is beautiful and totally worth to visit. It was  a peaceful place, but also central to everything. I loved it and will come back!
