I have been traveling to Italy for the past seven years, and I have stayed at GiaMia Villas each time.  I have not experienced the hospitality, friendly, cleanliness, convenience anywhere near the experiences I receive from Mike at his Villa.    No need for any more research of a location and home atmosphere while in Italy.  Mike is very unknowable of the area and is more than willing to share with his guest.  Priced right makes you feel he is genuine.  Thank you Mike.   Roger

Great, Excellent, Fabulous

Large comfortable suite with a full kitchen. Huge balcony with a panoramic view of the mountains.  A garden like no other; flowers, fruit trees, vegetables of all sorts.  Fountains & ponds..... A perfect place for an Italian getaway!

Bella Italia, Bella Abruzzo!  I loved all the water features on the property.  Good job Mike!  We will dream to come back in the Spring when we can help harvest the artichokes.  Lots of little villages nearby, each with its own flavor.

I guess I should mention more, but the other reviews seem to cover it all:  “real Italian living”.   The gardens have fruit trees , tomatoes, 200 artichoke plants... too much to mention!  just looked at my photos, and I had forgotten the grape picking, will add a photo.

Grazing in the Garden

My husband, daughter and I stayed for a week at Gia Mia Villas and we were in love with it from the moment we arrived!  The views from our private balcony were absolutely gorgeous and our room was beautiful and comfortable.  The owner, Mike, and his assistant, Arnold, made us feel welcome and were very helpful.  Arnold brought us zucchini they had grown in the garden, and Mike directed us to all the best restaurants and sights in the area.  We would have been lost without them!  The place was clean and cozy, and it had a kitchen so we could stay in and cook. It was a wonderful place to relax in the peace and quiet and we will definitely be coming back to visit Gia Mia Villas!  We highly recommend this accommodation!

An amazing way to experience Italy!!

I notice that the previous reviews are all from previous years.  We chose this apartment for the location, being close to family we were visiting and trip advisor reviews. That and the terrace were the only advantages.  The view is amazing of course (this view is available anywhere in Prezza)  but we were choked by the owner(s) cigarette smoking on the terrace and outside our door.  Internet sketchy.  It might have been in its glory when it opened but doesn't seem to have been cleaned since.  Filthy floors, yard sale furnishings, dead bugs, webs, poor linens, stinky shower curtain, smelly towels and pillows we could not even use.  Thankfully family supplied us with towels and pillows; Barking dogs at night, grimey kitchen and utensils we were not comfortable using.  Not one complimentary thing on arrival, even had to buy our own toilet tissue. We felt we overpaid at $600/weekly.  There are far nicer places to be found for half the price in the local towns.  We have stayed at many places in Italy, this is the first time we have not been happy with our accommodations.  Sorry Mike, your villas need some tlc.
