Great stay, great team, great vacation!

What a great place to stay with the family. Apartment was spacious and had air con. Furniture and accessories were of good quality.  Enjoyed the pool and cocktails/snacks everyday. The hosts were friendly and spoke good English. Extremely helpful on the first night as had travelled from southern Germany and traffic was horrendous. Arrived late and accommodated us giving instructions to get somewhere to eat. Very chilled relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly be going back as plenty more to see around Lake Garda and surrounding areas. 

Rural location near to Lake Garda

We are just back from our 10 night holiday at Nonna Mari and can't wait to go back. We drove down with a night in Luzern and then drove back stopping in Strasbourg back to the UK. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids (aged 12 and 2). Our apartment was just right and we had a lovely balance between eating out at well recommended restaurants (especially Fior di Loto) and using the BBQ at Nonna Mari. We were spoilt with the weather and had some very relaxing days by the pool - complete with music and fab cocktails/drinks/snacks from the bar. We were made to feel very welcome. It had a beautiful rustic charm with a lovely family feel too. Salo and Sirmione were really charming, typically Italian towns. Everywhere was so family friendly. The horse riding was great - still very hot even at 8 in the morning! A very relaxing break. 

Perfect family holiday 

Positives:
- Very good quality furniture, equipped kitchen, bathroom
- Very clean apartment, pool, area
- Vast area with multiple facilities (tennis, table tennis, grill, mini zoo for kids, garden, olive trees, places to play)

Negatives:
- Very small pool. There is 10x apartments with 4x people per each. It gives 40x people to share a little pool with only 4 umbrellas. As a family with 3x small kids we have been simply refused any option to get an extra umbrella.
- Complete lack of hospitality. Unfriendly staff not even saying hello and clearly annoyed by questions from clients.
- It is "rent a house" agency rather than B&B. You do not even know who runs this house. 
- Breakfast is not included in apartment rent of €170 per night. You have to pay extra €10 per person.
- Very noisy apartments with thin walls. You hear your neighbors all night.
- Tractors passing just at the door steps. You cannot let kids alone. Too dangerous.
- During our stay there was summer camp with ~20x kids

Great facilities but not coming back

Just back from a family holiday where we stayed in a loft apartment at Nonna Mari. Flew into Milan Malpensa and drove tbe 100 miles to Nonna Mari which was easy to find using our Satnav. Beautiful location, large grounds, close to stunningly beautiful Salo where we spent a few evenings. Ideal for our 8 year old son who enjoyed the various animals and the lovely swimming pool...even though it was freezing! The loft apartment was very good...clean, bright and airy with a very nice bathroom, good cooking facilities, ample seating and balcony. It wasn't very well sound-proofed so you could hear your neighbours but this wouldn't put us off if we have the opportunity to go back. Extremely peaceful location where the only thing you can hear in the evenings is the crickets! We were greeted by Elaria who made us feel extremely welcome and who looked after us very well. One thing we would have liked was the opportunity to sit in the B&B reception in the evening to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine...and it would be fabulous if the swimming pool was heated. Apart from this we couldn't fault our stay and we do hope to return again. Thank you for our lovely stay with you...we were all very sad to leave.
