Hotel la Feluca is ideal in its location, 5-10 mins walk from Bagnaia beach with its pristine water and secluded 'cove'. The rooms are cozy and ample, and the hotel very well maintained. I describe it as adorable with a friendly and happy staff, that made our stay simply perfect. They also own the open air diner down the road with excellent delicious home made food every night. 

Tranquil hotel and location in Bagnaia

We stayed at Hotel La Feluca for 1 week in June and our stay was perfect. 

The hotel positions itself as 2 stars, but it’s undoubtedly 3 stars. 

The room (we had №304) is very spacious with comfortable bed and incredibly beautiful sea view opening from a cozy balcony where we used to sit enjoying sunsets and cool evenings. There is no air-con, but the fan was more than enough for us. 
The bathroom is spacious as well. Looking at the photos one may think it’s not very convenient to take a shower, but in reality it turned out to be no problem at all. 

The hotel has free Wi-Fi in rooms. Moreover, the Internet connection is very good and speedy – no inconveniences whatsoever. 

The breakfasts are plentiful with home-made pastries and cakes, fruits. It was so good to enjoy the food sitting on the veranda overlooking Bagnaia bay.

As for the personnel – they are all super friendly always willing to help you. Many-many special thanks to Irma, Nicoletta and Jessica who helped us so much in so-so-so many cases. 

The hotel is situated far from hustle and bustle of Portoferraio, but if you rent a car you can easily reach it. As an addition, you’ll receive total silence and serenity: no road, no noise – just birds’ and owls’ songs.

There are many restaurants in just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Bagnaia beach is 5 minutes’ walk as well. The nearest minimarket is near the beach and a bigger one is in Magazzini which is 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

So, our stay was very pleasant and nice. If we are ever back to Elba, we’ll definitely choose Hotel La Feluca for our stay again.

Great vacation!

The hotel is friendly very clean and well kept, not too far from the lively city of Portoferraio. We found though that prices in august were a bit too high for the basic comfort provided, but might be a better ration quality/price in low season. I would also recommend sea facing rooms versus back facing rooms. the first have a totally different feel about them, are more spacious, light and have a balcony. The back facing room we had was a little disappointing for the price.

We booked this hotel as we were visiting the island and found it a good place to start out. Everywhere is easily located by car although some roads are rather tight! Hotel staff were friendly and we got a warm reception. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift but that did not cause us a problem. Our room was spacious with a nice view and balcony. The only negatives were that it was a warm night and there is no air con in the rooms. The ceiling fan did not work and we only found out once we were in bed and needed it!! The hotel rating of 2 stars is fair although if air con was provided I would definitely rate it 3.

Basic but friendly!

I can't even begin to say how pleased I was with our recent stay at Hotel La Feluca. Having read some reviews I expected a far simpler experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fan and breezes from the sea we slept great! Loved the location being far from big tourist areas and close to the beach. We drove all over the island and found the location to be great and easy to navigate back to. The view is unbeatable and made my trip! It was sad to leave such a beautiful place.
