We spent several days here in a caravan which we wedged into a pitch close to the beach.  We were there the last week they were open in October, and the weather and lack of crowds were great!  Being on a clean beach in Tuscany with great weather and access to great food and wine....  It cannot get better than that.  We fell asleep nightly listening to the waves.  

We like this low-key style of campground without a huge animation program.  I think this is reflected in what we thought was a good price.  If you are looking for a five-star experience with nightly entertainment, this place is probably not for you.  Not many campgrounds offer direct beach access in this price range, though.  We heard a rumor that our neighbors paid only 14 euro per night for their glamping tent through an internet / phone only special.  The mobile homes looked great and also had good late-season prices.

The one issue with this place is, as others have noted, the bathroom situation.  The showers especially are small, old and moldy.  Yes, they were cleaned daily; but they still smelled bad.  Only a couple of the ladies toilets had seats on them.  We felt that we could deal with the restrooms considering all the other great things about this place, but we understand if others see it differently.  

We are not sure what this place is like in high season with noise and crowds, but we really enjoyed our stay there in October.

Very good in October (with one little issue...)

We only stayed one night while transiting through Italy and did not realize I had booked the tent (which was lovely but had no private bathroom). Upgraded to very nice Crippa 2 bedroom mobile lodge. Shower was great with excellent hot water; kitchen had everything you need; bed was very comfy; small but suitable for the price. Staff was very nice and the beach has easy access.  Bar and Market are great! We did not try the restaurant.

Upgraded from tent to 30 sq mtr mobile home; would do it again.

We have spent 1 week in one of the camping's caravans. The state of the caravan was appalling, it was dirty, most of the windows were broken and patched up with some sort of glue, the bed mattresses were old and smelly, the pillows lumpy and unbelievably uncomfortable. The marquee outside was ripped and full of holes. I overheard a conversation of one of the receptionists trying to talk a caller out of renting the caravans as they are “quite dated” but none of this is on the website where I booked the holiday from.

 The toilets and showers were dirty and smelly, doors broken, old dreary interiors, on our first day I ended up in a cubicle where someone had stuffed a used sanitary towel on the edge of a cubicle panel, I checked it every day to see if someone had removed it…it was there the day we left.

 Extremely overcrowded, I could hear people snoring in the caravan behind us.

 On our first evening we went to the restaurant, the waiter announced that we would be seating in the VIP area with a lovely view…we were seated next to a poster, not even a window…
They charged us €3.00 for a can of Fanta, again I overheard a customer complain after we had paid and they charged them only €2.00.

 There is nothing for the kids to do other than cycle around aimlessly, no play areas, no games, not even a ping pong table. To the point that my son spent 4 days in the roulette watching DVD’s on the laptop (there was no television in the caravan we hired).

 In the end we decided to leave on Friday, one day earlier and when I asked for a refund on the hire of the beach umbrella and reclining beds I was told and I quote “We have already issued the tax invoice, we cannot refund you now”, it took me several attempts till I found a nice receptionist that could help me with that.

Awful

A good camping village with let's say great amenities..good seaside with very friendly host ..good stuff for family wants some relaxing weekend with the camper..good restaurants along side the camp..so never get bored.

Good place

We went on holiday with children, we searched on the internet for a place were the adults could have some quiet time to read a book and the kids a playground, sea and animation to enjoy themselves. 

We booked this camping through Internet and saw a nice spacious chalet on this camping. We only saw around 31 chalets. We thought this place would be nice and spacious. 

When we arrived we could not check in until 3 o'clock. You have to wait with your car in front of the camping. The fence will not open earlier. Which became clear to us why. When I walked on the camping before checking in, we already did not like the place. We immediately told this to the reception were we had to check in. 

When you walk through the camping you feel like an ant. People everywhere and stacked upon each other. Every centimeter was filled with tents & mobile homes. When I say everywhere I really mean everywhere!!!! Next to the 31 chalets there are like 970 tents and mobile homes in an area without playing fields, playground or whatsoever. You except at least some play and recreation ground at an camping. When we checked in, it became clear to us that this place is all about the money making and not about service and giving people a good vibe and feeling, a place you can enjoy, play and relax. 

When I came to the beach it was so crowded, the beach beds were so close to each other and there were so many it was crazy!!!

Lucky for us we did not have to use the public restrooms, it was old and dirty! The tents stacked upon each other and the staff we're well I think used to getting complaints since they directly try to separate you from the rest from the guests. 

We asked if we could cancel the booking we paid €1400,- for 1 week and they did not want to solve our problem we felt with this place, we had not even seen the inside of our chalet but they said that they did not want to make any kind of gesture and booked is booked and they strictly follow the cancellation policy.  The staff claimed that they were aware of the pictures on the website and that they did not lie, no they just bend the truth or withhold important details.  
We were told that it would be more quiet the next day because Saturday was a check in day. Well....it was not! The noise in the evening was so loud, reading a book or enjoying a conversation in your chalet. In the early morning drunk guest were getting into a loud fight and at 7:30 in the morning cars were coming in and out next to our chalet. The loudness of so many people in such a small area is like you're constantly are hearing the noise of an indoor swimming pool where they let too many people in. 

The restaurant they have is a sad ugly looking place and the food is very poor. The waiter was kind and understanding. 

Really guys, if you want to throw your money away like we did go there, if not, there are so many places were you get more value for far more less money.
