Stayed at Domus Frattania this year in July 2019 for 4 nights with my wife and grandson the host Omar was great couldn't do enough for you. The location was central and great also.
The pictures on Booking.com were deceiving as the room appeared to be a lot bigger as advertised on their site,it was pretty cramped. The roof height was low, I'm only175cm tall and the beam would have taken my head off if i wasn't careful, not as it appeared on the pictures on the site. Also the air condition was small and old and couldn't cope with cooling our room,so sleeping was difficult due to the hot weather. The bathroom was old and very small and for what we payed per night I expected something better. There was a small lift external to the building which my wife was scared to use because it was not reliable.Just not happy with the way it was shown on booking.com as it was different in real life, unfortunately we have just got back from holidays and i cant write a review on booking because they only allow you 28 days to enter a review. They must have used a good camera to take the pictures of the room because the size and height wasn't as it appeared in the pictures.

One positive note of finding in the center for the rest: entrance with a ladder ramp leading to a claustrophobic truck, poor breakfast that Sunday is anticipated without hot drinks, presences don't work, no dressing rooms, wi-fi doesn't work, you don't know the hostess who doesn't leave a receipt, television doesn't work, shower that looks like a tac.

One positive note that lies in the center the rest a disappointment

El Domus frattina is actually in a B&B in the heart of Rome. A half-square of Via del Corso. A private building. The owner Giuliana lives on the last floor and has these two rooms with a beautiful terrace that rents out to tourists. It's a kind of penthouse. Personally I liked it a lot. The very complete breakfast served by Omar quienuy kindly brings us breakfast every day. The only disadvantage is the very small elevator and the stairs that have to be climbed until reaching the elevator.

A very welcoming manager met us, everything told us and showed us, it was nice because there was no kind of obsession on his part) we were having breakfast, quite simple, but quite tasty) at the check-in we indicated that we would like to eat and drink, so when we sat down at the table we were already getting our drinks) at my hotel quietly and you can say very romantic) the rooms are very clean, clean well, an unrealistically comfortable bed in which you drown and don't want to get up (dangerous of course), and what a fancy place from the balcony, standing in front of you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a rushed, beautiful steam room ❤️ On the road don't be surprised if you hear the opera underneath the fire, which is quite romantic near my hotel, which can also be said very romantic) In this case, it was best to leave the hotel with a nice baggage and a very good morning ride ❤️ On the way to the hotel, you can probably have a very good morning ride, which is quite a bit of fun, and you can also have a nice time with the hotel,

A lovely place on the roofs in the Plaza de España, an abundant breakfast, certainly very nice on the terrace with nice and warm weather, excellent cleanliness, lovely property, we recommend you!

Very good service by Omar who came down to help us with our luggage, served our breakfast every morning at a time we agreed on, all our queries and issues raised were answered in a very professional manner.
We met Guiliana, the owner, when checking-out and she was very friendly and accommodating. 
The B&B is centrally located to almost everything.  The bed could do with an upgrade though and wifi is quite slow and sporadic.

Very nice hotel room ideally located, admirably well decorated. Breakfast on the terrace is sublime. Suites are spacious and price ratio is remarkable. No hesitation for my next trip to Rome: Domus Frattina

It's beautiful

The only positive thing is the position for the rest is really terrible. I paid to have breakfast in both days, but when I arrived I was told by the Chinese waiter that since the next day was Sunday, they didn't serve it. Also on Saturday (on arrival) he asked us what we wanted for breakfast on Monday!!!!! Crazy. The room was never cleaned; what was supposed to be an elevator, it was actually a charger, which in the two days we were there, most of the time it didn't work. The shower was very narrow, the towels looked like glass paper because they were hard!!!

Terrible place and evasion to the pure state!!!!

We stayed in this B&B with our 11-year-old son, for three nights, during the Bridge of the Dead. What to say, we felt like we had our own little private apartment right in the center of Rome, less than 5 minutes' walk from Piazza di Spagna. Tastefully furnished, simple, mansard and bright, equipped with a green terrace where we were served a custom breakfast, with fruit, yogurt, coffee, milk, brioches, toasts and orange juice.
