The location is perfect, most major sites are at the farthest 25 minutes (Trevi, Spanish Steps) and Colosseum and Forum are within 5 min.  Stayed in the apartment, which was good for two parents and a grown child (21).  Comfortable beds, clean rooms.  A/C is not powerful so if you prefer cold (especially in the extreme heat of July) it is challenging, and one day while out they shut of the A/C so quite hot when we returned.  Two fridges, but they are small (former mini bar fridges) so no big bottles.  The front desk is not staffed all the time, maybe 8 - 12 or 1 (their site says until 2:30 but that was not the case.  Overall good, but on the last night of our 6 night stay they tried to get us to move to a smaller room (all sleeping in same room) because they double booked the apartment - which we said no to and we're bothered that they would even ask.  Not our issue that they had a booking error, and a lot to ask for us to spend part of our last day packing everything to move across the hall for one night.  The restaurant directly next store may not be the best in Monti, but the food is decent and the service there is EXCELLENT.

Location a plus

Looks old from the outside but a very nice clean modern hotel. Loved the vintage lift. Only 2 minute walk from the Colosseum, many restaurants near by.  Easily access the bus to get around, or access the tour buses near the Colosseum.

Perfect location, next to coloseum. very helpful staff  as there is no 24 h reception i called  from the airport , hotel staff had send me email asking what time we wuold arraive. For family of 3 persons there was plenty of space for us iand because there seperated rooms the aircondition temperature was different for different rooms.

Nice and clean, room quite spacious for a sleeping base as that's all you need when out and about site seeing
Bad thing is the shower
After a long and hot sticky day siteseeing on first day was looking forward to a nice shower before bed
You'll find that you can't have one because the cubicle is tiny but most of all the water is freezing
Nobody to tell until next morning
We told them now the shower has gone the other way it's too hot it's virtually scalding
Im a plumber by trade and you can tell someone has tried fixing the original problem by turning the cold water down as there is hardly any cold water coming from basin tap now
We'll bring that up with reception in the morning
Other than that it is ten mins from colosseum
Nobody on reception when you get back after a long day until nine in the morning

We had a last minute change in our plans from train delays and needed a hotel. We booked online and carried our luggage all across town. When we arrived, we were notified the reservation was cancelled online that we had just made. The receptionist allowed us to sit in a waiting area and use their wifi to find another place. He told us he would be right back, so we thought he was helping another customer. 15 minutes later he came back out of breath and told us he found us a hotel. We were shocked he had ran to another hotel to help us! Service like that does not exist in the US. He escorted us to our hotel and introduced us to the new staff! We were very appreciative for the help!!
