I did my research & booked The Pace Helvizia Hotel. I wanted a central location, close to all of the iconic landmarks at a price that I was happy with. This hotel did not disappoint, we could not have chosen a better place. I did read past reviews & my take on it is simply that I was not expecting a modern contemporary feel with sharp decor. What we got was ornate ceilings, draped curtains & traditional inlaid wooden furniture- it all added to the experience. The staff were friendly & welcoming, the breakfast was very good & the hotel was clean. There is a roof top terrace with amazing views across the city, we could see St Peter’s Basilica which looks stunning at night. I would definitely go back & would recommend Pace Helvizia without hesitation.
