We liked our experience at La Roma di Camilla. We stayed in the light and spacious apartment overlooking St. Peter’s dome, it’s a beautiful view! Great terrace in the apartment. We didn’t use it much as it was December and the weather was cool, but I can imagine how it feels to have a cup of coffee in a warm sunny morning on this terrace))) Fifteen minutes walk to Vatican. Supermarkets, cafes and Cipro metro station in the vicinity. There was everything we needed in the apartment: bed linen, towels, plates and dishes, cutlery, microwave, coffee, tea, welcome cakes, bathroom supplies, umbrellas etc. Wi-fi was good. At our request, Camilla arranged airport transfer for us, which was just perfect. Also, we travelled with a baby and Camilla kindly provided a baby cot for it. All in all, we felt quite comfortable in that place. However, there were two issues and I’m not sure if these were within the control of the hosts. First, the water supply used to get cut off at midnight and was not resumed until 6 a.m. I don’t know whether this was the case throughout the whole city or just in this particular area, but it was annoying. The second, a couple of times the current in the whole apartment was cut off and fixing a power switch not always helped. Still, we enjoyed our stay at the place and we would stay here again.

Great location and good place to stay

I've been there many times and can only expressly recommend the B & B. Extremely clean, quiet, always friendly and hospitable service. Metro and all the important shops & restaurants, cafes (e.g. 24-hour Carrefour, for me the best restaurant in Rome and unbeatable running sushi) near the door. Civilian prices.

Perfect accommodation for staying in the centre of Rome

We visited Rome for the first time and stayed here. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Vatican and the Cipro metro station is close by. As two women we felt very safe in the area.

The room was basic and clean, nothing fancy but everything you needed.  Every day there was even some sort of cake and orange juice that turned up in our fridge, which was a great touch. The breakfast provided is quite simple with cereal, toast, fruit etc, but we didn't need anything more.

Overall a fantastic stay. The owners are extremely friendly people who were always able to answer our questions. Definitely recommend.

Great location and lovely people

No one cares. Full July, there's light for three days, no air conditioning, no hot water, no kitchen for breakfast.Cleanse discreetly. Sheets don't change. Towels only change in seven days.Lunch, if you like Nutella, fine, if you're looking for a more complete breakfast, head to the corner bar.

It's pathetic.

We have visited Rome so many times and B&B La Roma Di Camilla is our favourite place to stay. Perfect as always! Excellent location, beautiful rooms, good quality of sleeping, very clean and comfortable, good internet connection, well-equipped kitchen there always you can find some sweets, fruits and juices, an excellent coffee machine for coffee lovers. There is a supermarket not far from the B&B as well, if you need something more. Special thanks for the delicious cakes in the mornings! B&B La Roma Di Camilla, thank you a lot, we love you and will be back again! Highly recommended, one of the best places to stay in Rome.

Our favourite place to stay in Rome

We stayed in an 8th floor apartment run by "Roma di Camilla". It was in a great location, no more than 10 minutes walk to Cipro Metro station, and about 15 minutes walk to the Vatican Museums.

The apartment had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay and Camilla recommended a local restaurant called "Rosso Vivo" and we ate there twice, easily the best food we had during our stay in Rome.

When we arrived at the apartment a lovely chocolate cake had been left as a welcome present which was a nice treat. The apartment itself was light and spacious and from standing up on the balcony terrace there were nice views of the dome of St Peter's. 

One thing to note is that because the apartment is a penthouse and south facing it did get warm each day even with the shutters closed. We found that the aircon in the living room struggled to cool down it in the evening, however the aircon in the bedroom worked perfectly so we had no problem sleeping.

Our one main dislike with the apartment was that the shower was over the sloping end of the bath and there was no rubber mat to stand on so it was very slippery to stand there. The water pressure was also very weak so showering was not the safest or best experience!

Light & airy apartment in great location near Vatican Museums

We stayed here as a couple for a weekend. We were in the apartment rather than the B&B. The apartment is wonderful, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were warmly greeted by Camilla and shown to our apartment. A cake, bottled water and a carton of milk was waiting there for us, and she also made us a coffee which after travelling was much appreciated! The location of the apartment is perfect and a very short walk from the metro station. 

I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a home from home in Rome!

Wonderful stay

We stayed in the attic...a beautiful apartment, on the top floor (7 by elevator, one by staircase). View from the dome of San Pedro.Camilla and Cinzia were super friendly, they helped us before, during and after being there.We left a pudding on arrival, and decorated the room with balloons and left us a wine for my girlfriend's birthday.The place is fully equipped: laundry, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, plank, trays, pots, air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, electric jar, electrical anafe...There were condiments, olive oil, coffee...A place to stay for three.It is 500 meters from the metro Cyprus, in a residential area, supermercado (supermercado) within 24 hours of Rome.If you want to stay there, you can get back to Rome for the first time.

To stay and live.

The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the Vatican, not on a busy tourist street, it's nice to walk in the morning and evening. The metro is not far away, so it's easy to get to the main attractions.

Excellent hotel within walking distance of the Vatican.

The luxurious room, a super-complete breakfast, a cappuccino 24 hours before bedtime a hot cup comes in great.It's on the subway 10 minutes' walk, so stay well located and close to the Vatican and charming Andrea helped us and explained super well.We will repeat and recommend to our friends.
