neiberhood of people from abroad, rooms small and not so good looking, wird neiberhood, we were scared when we saw our bedroom that we gona catch some illness,. it was a nightmare and disgusting.

Location is good BUT:
- the room we booked was not available so ended up havind to pay a total of 50 € extra for a different  room and city tax
- toilets barely flushed
- Wifi did not worked
- dodgy people in front of the door at night
- only 3 out of more than 50 channels worked
- if on the 1st floor, you can hear very loudly people ringing at the door to get in

Very dissapointed

What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely host and his mum made us very welcome.
One of if not THE best catered for properties we jphave encountered Globally, obviously all the little details have been well thought out.
500 metres from Metro, 400 metres from St Peters, excellent eating and shopping nearby. .Very elegant and ipultra clean and tidy. This is a Rome must stay!!!

A really nice comfortable very accessible home near the Vatican City

I booked a single room and after check-in just left my backpack in the room and went for a walk. When I came back in the evening I found bedbugs there and immediately left the property, informed a stuff-guy about the reason of leaving. I asked not to charge the amount from my card because I was not going stay there and I think that bedbugs and a bed sheet with someone's blood is more than strong argument. 

They charged it anyway so now I'm spending time with booking.com discussions about getting my money back. 

Disgusting.

BEDBUGS in the room

Private room is very small with leaky window, so you can hear everythink what is outside and it is a bit cold. Room without wi-fi (i don't know if they even have internet). There is no towels in the room (we asked about the towels for two and they gave us just one). Shower was broken and water wasn't even hot. Location is okay but the neighbourhood is terrible, so you need to be careful. To sum up- I don't recommend.

Horrible

I have booked a b&b through booking.com on my last visit to Rome. I am a regular traveler and I never had any issues, until I booked Overseas b&b.
I was travelling with a friend, we were cheerful and looking forward to our holiday in Rome, until while looking for the hotel we found ourselves in the most precarious and dangerous area of Rome. I could not believe it as the pictures I saw of the hotel, do not reflect the reality at all. It's positioned on a street which hosts homeless, drugged people, it smells of drugs everywhere and there are scary gangs along that street. We were constantly whistled at, weird people walking behind us, we were scared of being robbed, to say the least.

There is no contact email address for the hotel, and I had to constantly contact booking.com, who would then communicate with the hotel. I immediately called to cancel my 3 nights stay, hoping that I would only be charged a cancellation fee, or the first night stay - however they refused and ended up being charged for the whole duration, although we never stayed there. 

The hotel's entrance is unclear and in any event it is blocked by weird drug dealers who constantly stay there. The hotel's response was that the hotel is positioned in a central area, which is always populated by 'tourists'. How ridiculous!

AVOID! Most horrible experience!

I was a bit dubious about booking this apartment at first. However the photos on the Internet do not do the apartment any justice. It looks newly refurbished and the location is in the absolute centre off all the attractions in Rome. 

Alex was a great host and I can definitely recommend this apartment to anybody looking for a tidy apartment in the heart of Rome. It’s not a 5 star hotel however for what I paid I expected a lot less. Excellent value for money!

Great stay!

We were here in May last year. It was in a bit of a csary neighborhood but great for   communication. Its right in front of termini and its very  convenient if you want to move around a lot. 

The host was nice and he offered a free dinner on the first night and offered loads of Citronella thereafter. 

This place is ideal for young couples looking to explore the town  and not spend much time in the bedroom. Its  reasonably priced and relatively clean. 

I ddnt particularly like the location nor the building itself  but  the price was reasonable and the location convenient and the host was kind. so i would recommend it

The only positive characteristic which I could find here was the easy access to Termini. The owner of this B&B has tried to reuse of an old apartment. There's no lobby and computer here, and it was shocking for me, because I trusted on my last experience at a B&B hostel and I didn't bring my laptop with myself! In addition the environment of this hostel is crowded and full of immigrants which weren't at an appropriate manner and it made me sad...
So the only postivie things here, are being economy and also near to Termini!
Not recommended by me...!

Average and economic!

This is just a minute walk from the central station. The apartment is beautiful.
Alex is an excellent host. The food in his restaurant is excellent.
I will be definately be staying there again.
