We stayed at Margot guest house for 4 nights in room number 6 and had a private bathroom located outside the room. 

The room was very clean and we were given fresh sheets and towels everyday. It is a five minute walk to termini so extremely handy for getting about, I'd say it was about a 15/20 minute walk to get to the trevi fountain but the walk itself was lovely. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was quite poor, some pre-packaged croissants and crackers and a couple of juice boxes so we just ate at the cafe downstairs. It was quite noisy from when the reception opened at 8 as our room was right next to it. Wifi was not very good. It is also extremely noisy at night, we were able to get over it because we were so tired but I would not recommend if you are a light sleeper. 

Overall we were quite happy with our stay, the room provided everything we needed from it and for a good price. 

Serves it's purpose

Room was very clean and the staff was cleaning our room everyday. Also they brought us everyday a basket with croissants,juice and crackers. They had in the reception coffee and tea for all day. The place of the hotel was great (don't freak out if you see some foreigns on the neighborhood :) ) The room was warm and the water was always hot. I totally recomend it if you search something cheap and good.

Best value for money hotel

The accomodation is located 1 minute near Termini Station and so it is very easy to reach all sights of interest in Rome, either on foot or on metro. The area does not seem absolutely safe, but it is no problem to walk on during the night. There are lots of places to eat around the corner.
The owner of the Guesthouse are extremly friendly and tried to make our stay as comfortable as they could. They often asked if everything is ok or if they could bear a helping hand. 
The room was exactly this way as shown on the pictures, the furniture is easy and not stylish but it was very clean. There is a cleaning service everyday. 
For breakfast one gets juice, coffee, cake, croissant and cornflakes. But it seems that one gets only one cake/croissant per person. None of them are fresh or bought in a bakery and you have to eat in your room. 
The only thing we didn´t like, was that one can hear any word that is spoken in other rooms or the corridor. The walls are very thin and if there is some noise (e.g. because the breakfast is given in the corridor from 8a.m. ) one can´t sleep anylonger. Alltogether we would stay there again for a citytrip to Rome and we would not regret it.

low priced, centrally, clean and friendly

Be warned that receptionist/staff didn't speak any English, luckily for us my partner is Italian. 
 When we arrived they said there was a maintenance problem with our room, and we were put in another smaller/budget rm beside reception and had to walk across reception to rm's bathroom/toilet. Not the best location..... 
Thank goodness the following day we were in our booked rm and enjoyed the rest of our stay.
The hotel/guest house is on the 6th floor as well and there is a lift but only takes 2 people.
But for what we payed on booking.com and the location couldn't really complain....

central location,good value...

We stayed in the extension Letizia had just opened two blocks from Margot House. We were the first customers staying there. The place was excellent, clean, and the service was great. I highly recommend Margot house if you are going to Rome. Letizia makes you feel very welcomed, and she's incredibly helpful.

This guest house is among the worst choices. The area is very bad and notorious. The guest house is horrible. We have booked a room based on the reviews and the fotos that have been published. Both are not real. The rooms are very small, the building is very old and dirty. There is an elevator that reach to the fourth level but the rooms are at the sixth. The staff is very roud and they dont speak english.We didn't stay there finally because we were disappointed of the whole situation, however the (very roud) manager told us that we have to pay more than the half of the money. I dont recommend it !!!!!!!!!!!
