We chose Eritres Suites based on a recommendation on a cruise forum. While not in the busy centre of the city, it is easily accessed by metro and is in a very walkable neighbourhood full of charm, and a wide variety of dining and shopping.

The room itself was small but well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We were not without anything. Our daily breakfast was at a small coffee bar just steps away and we loved it there. We also dined based on the recommendation of the host and really enjoyed that experience.

We loved it here, and would consider it when we return to Rome!

A comfortable stay and easy to get around

Eritrea Suite is a lovely stay for a city trip to Rome. The rooms appear very new, are luxurious and nice and clean. 
The staff is very friendly and does their best to make you feel welcome.
The hotel is located in a district away from the city center but since a metro station is literally minutes away from the hotel this no problem at all. Even so the locals appear to be much more friendly and genuinely care for you instead of only for making money (which is often the case in the city center).
Eritrea suite does not supply any breakfast in the hotel, but instead treats you to real Italian breakfast at a local little bar. This way your breakfast allows you to taste a little of local Italian life, great coffee and very gentle people.
Furthermore small shops with fresh fruit, a bakery, a great winebar and Gelatteria are minutes from the hotel.

Very nice small hotel in friendly neigbourhood

The owner of the property was very helpful, ready to go the extra mile. We had a late check-in and flight got delayed, the owner did not create any fuss and was waiting for us even at 9:30 at night. The location is a 5 minute walk from Metro with restaurants and McDonald's nearby. The room was spacious and the B&B provided all comforts of home. The room had mini Fridge and the common area had utensils, Micro and tea/ coffee. Breakfast is not on property, so needed to go to a bar nearby (though only across the street). Would rent again if I visit Rome.

Charming Place

I spent the weekend in Rome and this b&b was really great....a great hospitality, a beautiful room and above all super clean...the area is perfect...all shops and restaurants around, the subway on walking distance..the next time when i will visit Rome again, i will stay again at Eritrea Suite...

Communication with our host was very good; he was friendly when he welcomed us and able to answer all our questions. We stayed in the suite for 4 nights which was a lovely room with a huge bathroom! It was very clean and cosy just like a home. We had to have our breakfast in the coffee shop near by but we did not mind  as the food was good and the staff was friendly. Gianluca also gave us discount vouchers to other restaurants near by. He helped us get our laundry done at no cost and it was ready within a day! My husband and I decided to stay there again when we returned to Rome after a week of traveling, this time we booked a smaller room but still spacious and comfortable enough. The host was easy to contact. The location was good as there was a metro stop near by that connected to most of the major city attractions. I would definitely recommend Eritrea suite!
