The moment we reached the backyard with the various apartments we wanted to escape, the walls appeared untouched and everything seemed abandoned with air conditioners outside full of rust. Everything seemed unfinished. We walked into our apartment and everything seemed cheap but clean.

Our family stayed in this beautiful modern apartment which had everything we needed for our stay.  The location right near the Duomo was perfect because we could walk everywhere.  

Would stay there again on our next trip to Florence.

Wonderful Modern Accommodation 

We stayed here over New Years and it was great for the location of the Vatican. We decided to take hop on/off your as well so that was within walking distance of the Vatican making our stay great. Lovely restaurants nearby and the place itself was perfect size for a family of four. 

Great find in a huge coty

My Mum and I together with my sister and her husband stayed 4 nights at both the Sun and Moon apartments.  Rosa Maria was excellent!  Superb hostess and just a wealth of information.  Weeks before our arrival in Rome Rosa Maria sent us via email detailed options as to how to get to her apartment from the airport.  We settled with car service as we weren't too confident trying to figure our buses and trains and lug our luggage around.  

We were very impressed with both apartments.  They were clean, comfortable and were well stocked with white and whole wheat breads, varieties of yogurt and fresh fruit, jams, teas, coffee, bottled water, juices, milk and two types of cereal.  We did not have to buy anything for breakfast.  The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo and soap.

The apartment is just steps away from the Vatican and I asked Rosa Maria upon our arrival to the apartment if she could do us a huge favour to call the Vatican and confirm our pre-booked Vatican tour for the next day.  Rosa Maria was more than happy to make the call and speak to the staff at the Vatican.  We couldn't have done that as easily as we don't speak Italian.  Rosa Maria recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant just steps from the apartment and to mention her name.  We were well looked after at this restaurant!  Rosa Maria also gave us a cell phone to contact her at anytime if we need help.  Rosa Maria made sure that our stay in Rome would be relaxing and memorable stay.  She showed us points of interest in maps and which buses to take.  

After our stay in Rome we went on to stay in hotels in Venice, Munich, Berlin and Paris.  Our final destination before flying home was in London.  We spent 6 nights in London in an apartment and wished we were in Rosa Maria's apartment.  We were so spoilt in Rome.  We would highly recommend the Sun and Moon apartments.  I would definitely return to Rosa Maria's apartment and highly recommend the place and its perfect hostess.

Excellent apartment and hostess

We were in a family of 5 people and a 9-month-old baby. We were immediately impressed by the size of the apartment and the availability of the owner Vincenzo, a very friendly person and willing to answer the phone at any time. Like when he solved a hot water problem the very day of my communication on the phone, or when he made us find the crib ready for the 9-month-old. The location is really very convenient in San Pietro which can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and at the bus stops that lead to the center. The cleanliness of the premises is to be considered in the average and in any case acceptable. The only thing I could point out, they seemed more like advice than I would, is that a microwave would be useful, since the kitchen is lacking it.

Strategic position and wide range

We are a family of four. Our kids are 18 & 20 years old. We stayed in the Sun apartment for four nights in June. We used the pick up service that Rosa Maria suggested from the airport to the apartment. For four of us we felt it was the most efficient and reasonable choice and a convenient time saver over the hassle of figuring out the train. The apartment is very clean and well appointed. We had one queen bed and added two twins for the kids. With the extra beds it does make the room seem a bit crowded but we still had plenty of space. Everything we could have needed was supplied, even umbrellas if we had needed them. The breakfast provided was more than we could even eat. Lots of fresh fruit, bead, cereal, juice, yogurt, milk, coffee, tea, etc. We felt like the location was perfect, in a fairly quiet part of Rome just a short walk from the Vatican. When we checked in Rosa Maria met us and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. Rosa asked us what we had planned for our time in Rome. We already had plans made for each day of our stay, but we did change several things on recommendation from Rosa. We were glad we took her advice as it is so hard to know how long it will take to see different sights. She had some very helpful tips. Rosa also loaned us a cell phone to use during our stay with her. It came in very handy a few times when we had trouble with buses and finding a place where we had dinner reservations. We did a lot of research before we made Rome reservations and we are very, very happy we chose Apartment San Pietro and stayed with Rosa Maria!!

Great location with a terrific hostess!

We stayed in both apartments, two nights in one, one night in the other. Both apartments were very very nice and exceptionally clean. I'm not sure what hostess could've done to make them any nicer.  

Rosa Marie was a wealth of information, we took her advice and had a wonderful three-day stay in Rome. She even supplied us with a telephone so we could call her if we had any questions and so we could make low-cost local phone calls.

For breakfast there was six different kinds of fresh fruit, two loaves of bread, two boxes of cereal, two kinds of juice, yogurt, milk, coffee and tea. There was even a bottle of wine for us to enjoy!

The location of the apartments was excellent, on a sidestreet only a few minutes walk away from the Vatican.  If both apartments are available, we'd recommend that you stay in the one called the SUN. it was a little bit larger and a bit more comfortable.

You'll love it here!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and well-furnished. It was a perfect base house for our incursions throughout Rome and an oasis of comfort after long days of visiting the city. The kitchen is well equipped if you decide to eat there, there is satellite TV with CNN, Sky News and other English-language stations, there is WiFi, you can easily get to places to eat and there are many bars right around the corner.

Fantastic accommodation, wonderful hostess, great location

We were on a pleasure trip with the family and we found at Mrs. Rosa Maria an extraordinary reception. The apartment has been very well renovated and is in an excellent position both to visit St. Peter and Rome in general. The owner is very kind and gives excellent advice to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the cleanliness of the sovereign kingdom as well as... try to believe.
