I was there this week for 4 days. Reading at their website, looks like interesting place (quite cheap indeed for a 3 stars Hotel in Rome). First thing that must know that this hotel is a short walk from "La Celsa" train station. No so far away from the Metro line and close to "Piazza del Popolo". However it is technically outside Rome boundaries. My room was very noisy and without WiFi. Meaning that you can sleep after midnight and connect to the Internet, send e-mails, etc. only from the lobby (Yes, in there there is WiFi).
Do not slide the curtains...unless you want that several people watch you...
Staff is very friendly, but in my opinion, even if the price is very cheap is perhaps too much to deserve a 3 stars qualification (I will rate them as 1 or 2 stars). Can I recommend the place? If you don't care about noise and traveling to downtown and lack of WiFi in the room (at very low price); maybe yes. However, probably spending few more bucks, you can enjoy your stay in Rome. Will I return? Most likely not...

Too high qualification...be careful...

Hotel miles out in the sticks with nothing around it, no bars or restaurants.  The hotel does not have either of these although it says in the description that it does.  The rooms were dated but kept clean (maid service every day with beds made and clean towels).  The older man in reception was not very up on customer service.  Breakfast was at a poky little table in reception even though there was a dining room.  He would make our coffee and then walk away leaving them on the bar, not bringing it to our table.  Breakfast consisted of a few croissants and wrapped cakes with jam.  But he offered no plates so we had to eat them off serviettes!  The area around the hotel is very tatty with weeds everywhere and no proper paths.  Also badly lit at night.  The walk to the train station, although close, was quite daunting at night as it is so rural and we did, being two women, feel vulnerable.  Also the trains which were the only way to get into Rome finished very early so you couldn't stay in Rome late in the evening.  This wouldn't have been so bad if the hotel had it's own bar.  The nearest bar was in the next village and the route to it had not street lights along dustry tracks.  I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly wouldn't go back!  It seemed to be more like a hotel for Social Service recipients as there seemed to be a lot of families there who were constantly arguing late into the night.  Pay a bit more and stay closer to Rome is my advice and steer clear of this hotel.

Cheap and Clean but that's all

We were looking for a location that was easy to take the train system to the city of Rome. That was all we get. The room....very old, toilet didnt flush right, EXTREMELY LOUD outside and in the halls. The man at the reception desk was nice the at check in and then not nice the rest of the 2days. The walk to the train...we were "safe" but not safe at all. We definitely will pay more (and we paid over $100) next time to Rome. Hotel stayers....BEWARE!

We with my girlfriend were in Rome in the middle of November. Before travel we looked for cheap hotel from which it would be convenient to reach to the city. For money which we could pay, we found only this hotel. The breakfast entered into cost, it was very good for us. We didn't regret about the choice. The hotel has a location near with railway station La Celsa, from hotel to station we went on foot 5 minutes. In hotel the personnel gave us the schedule of movement of trains to Rome, a Rome map, it very much was useful to us. The electric train goes from station La Celsa to Rome's Piazza Flaminio of 15-20 minutes, electric trains go often, there are a lot of people in the morning. Metro station Flaminio Piazza del Popolo is near the  Piazzale Flaminio from which it is convenient to move across Rome, on foot it is possible to reach to Piazza del Popolo, where bus stops, we used by buses. Room was small, but cozy, we had one double bed. Shower room big, pure. Breakfasts good, the food sufficed to us. The window of our room was turned on the district road, but noise  was not disturb to us, we closed a window and drew curtains. We received a good place for small money for spending the night.

Good cheap hotel near to Rome

The hotel is not as close to the city centre as they make themselves seem. You can catch a commuter train to Flaminio station in Rome, though.  Beware of this when considering transportation, especially with baggage. Also, if you happen to be a solo female traveler, plan your schedule carefully. The area around the train station and hotel seem a bit desolate, not the sort of place you'd want to be wandering in alone at night. 

The staff were pleasant enough, and the building itself was okay. The room was somewhat dusty and the bathroom needed some attention, but it was tolerable. 
Given the price (for a single room, private bath) it was an alright experience. I don't think I would stay there again, simply because it was just too far from Rome city centre to be called 'convenient.' It quite simply is NOT conveniently-located.
