A terrific location - so close to the Basilica that it was just around the corner and just a short walk to the Vatican galleries. At the end of the short street, you turn either side and there are loads of local restaurants with tables on the cobbled street (which is closed to traffic). The managers are excellent - friendly, helpful and very experienced in hospitality. Looking out of our window, you could see a cobbled street below and the wall between the Vatican and St Angelo's. This hotel was small and not crowded, which felt like a blessing in the madness of Rome. It's rated 3 stars but I think it's better. When I return, I am coming here.

great location and staff to match

The staff were the kindest people ever. Even took the time to teach us some Italian. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was great (tea was sub-par). Rooms were beautiful and each one was uniquely designed. Bathroom was so darling. Good location

Love it!! Stay here!!!

This was the first time I have used the Hotel Bramante.  It was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint.  Great breakfasts prepared by the wonderful Maria.  The staff was great from the very beginning.  The location is unbeatable with St. Peters Basilica less than 5 minutes away.

Roman Holiday

Stayed 4 nights in Rome in May, 2022.  This is a great location and very close to St. Peter's.  The rooms are spacious and updated and very clean.  The best part about this hotel are the staff! Very warm, helpful and welcoming!  The morning breakfast is delicious and delightful.  I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Treat you like family!!

After spending night in a dump On Via Giorgio Scalia 46, we moved to this cozy hotel and I have to say, we couldn't do any better. We were treated as if we were part of the family. That is exactly what will make your stay a pleasanr experience you wont forget.

Wow! We really lucked out! Hotel Bramante was recommended by 2 friends who had stayed here before and we were so pleased! The staff was super-friendly and spoke enough English that we were able to communicate easily. 

We had difficulties with our flight and had to cancel our first night, but when we arrived at 8:00 a.m. the next morning, they had our room ready early for us (no charge) and we were able to get in a nap before tackling Rome! 

The breakfast in the morning was amazing. My husband was apprehensive because the pictures all showed bread & pastries, but the omelettes were delicious and we were both spoiled by the cappucino and caffe americano prepared for us each morning. 

The very best part of the hotel? Nikita! Nikita is a sweet black cat who lives at the hotel. Don't like cats? Allergic? Don't worry! I never saw her bother anyone, but when she's invited into the room, she'll make you feel like you're home. She was quite possibly our favorite part of our stay (after, of course, the warm and friendly staff). 

If we ever get to return to Rome, we will absolutely stay at Hotel Bramante! 

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere close to the Vatican

We arrived in Rome for the weekend to find the hotel we had booked and paid for last year was closed and boarded up! It could have been a disaster but the Bramante came to our rescue. We stayed for two nights, the hospitality was second to none! Thank you for making us so welcome and saving the day!

Very Welcoming 

I enjoyed three nights in this nice hotel.  The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and I looked forward to breakfast every morning.  Fantastic cappuccino's, delish breads and croissants, fruit, meats and cheeses, cereals and yogurts. It is the perfect spot to walk - 2 minutes to St. Peter's Square, great shops and cafes within minutes walk!  I highly recommend Hotel Bramante!

Right in the heart of Rome

The rooms are well-appointed.  The building is very traditional in appearance but has all the comforts you would demand.  The staff are charming and welcoming.  The breakfast is excellent, the staff offered to make omelettes to order.  Wake-up calls, taxis etc.  Nothing seemed too much trouble for this family-run hotel that is also so close to the Vatican!

A cozy and picturesque hotel, very conveniently located right next to the Vatican City. An old building, excellently preserved. Very friendly staff, cleanliness everywhere, very good breakfast and amenities of good quality. The size of the rooms varies. There is no elevator.
