I've been staying at this magnificent guesthouse for oversea's business. I found it very charming and welcoming. It's just a few minutes away from the main monuments in Rome, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Coliseum. In addition, the staff and the manager were truly friendly,  helpful and attentive of any necessity I asked for. Through them I easily booked a tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and used the 'skip-the-line' feature. No needed to waste any minute since I had such a short time to spend in the Eternal City. There's also a private garage so I could easily leave my car and reach the city's centre with no worries of not finding a parking. Highly recommended!! Top! Will definitely comeback!!

Really, Excellent, Spot

We stayed three days in this place (wich resembles more a hotel than a simple guesthouse) and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was finely adorned with gracious furniture, the staff was very nice and helpful and the position was perfect: placed in the centre of the city (just few minutes walking from the Spanish Steps) but without the noise and the hustle of the most congested streets. We will surely be back!

A jewel in the very centre of the Eternal City

Such a gorgeous place with the most lovely staff. I booked this for my boyfriends birthday and it was absolutely amazing, the room was decorated with candles and prosecco on arrival.
The room we stayed in was beautiful, the interior is very modern and the room was so clean. The staff are willing to do anything to help. The location was ideal as everything was walking distance, close to restaurants and the metro. 
So glad that we chose to stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you very much to all the staff that made our trip so perfect, it couldn't have been better.

Perfect!

Stayed here for 2 days to explore Rome ,  prior to catching a cruise around rest of med,  , then stayed for 1 last night prior to flight home. First room small , with not much light , but as only a base , was fine for our needs . On our second return, much bigger room...lovely after a busy cruise . Fantastic walking location for all main tourist spots...but this lovely  little gem is made even more enjoyable  ,  by its lovely staff. .Harika looked after us soooooo well, nothing was too much trouble,   as well as  Andre with great info about surrounding area. Lovely stay , staff fantastic

Four night's stay at Rome Eco Suites and found the room spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast simple but sufficient. The reception staff were both extremely friendly, informative about the local area, and helped out with query around transfers. Very well situated, pleasant walk into Rome, but also close to transport links into the centre of the city. 

4 Night's Stay

Friendly and very helpful staff.

Airport transfers, as well as our guided trips, were pre-arranged by Mirko (Front Office). The small-scale B&B has spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast is served by the B&B staff in the room or on the terrace. Each room has an espresso machine. There is a good wifi connection everywhere.

Ideal base for a citytrip in Rome near Piazza Popoli, close to everthing.

My boyfriend booked this trip for my birthday, our stay was for four nights (3- 6 March) allowing us to explore the great city of Rome.

Good points..
The hotel was greatly located to explore Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish steps.  The Metro station is 7 minutes walk so easy access to major tourist locations such as the Vatican city and Colosseum.

Our room was  a Deluxe double (Rm 105) on the ground floor.  It was spacious and had a King size bed. There's a fridge with complimentary water, coffee and an espresso machine with cups.  There's a small kettle as well as a hairdryer available  The room was cleaned daily and bedding and towels changed every other day.

Breakfast.
You select your choice for breakfast each day, this included, cereal, yoghurt, croissants, slice of cake, juice and ham & cheese sandwich (toastie).
This is served in the room  on colder days, I imagine in the summer you have the choice to have this outside. We only ate breakfast twice and it was as expected.

Staff on reception were very friendly and always willing to help.  We were leaving early one morning so would not be around for breakfast and I asked if they could leave some tea bags and milk in the fridge to allow us to have a cup of tea in the morning.  They not only left English Breakfast teabags but a selection of herbal teas.
It is worth mentioning reception is not 24 hrs.

Not so good bits..
Rm 105 was not very light, the only window was frosted and light was blocked by a large wardrobe.

The shower did not drain very well and leaked over the tray.  I mentioned this after our first day and they did say they cleared the drain but it still continued to drain slowly.

There's no heating in the room except a portable heater which you couldn't leave on all day so the room was cold when we came back after a day of exploring. With no heating in the bathroom, towels don't dry so housekeeping change dour towels daily.
The only ventilation in the bathroom is a window which you need to open from outside of the bathroom (as the window is part of the main window in the room) you can't leave this open all day as there's no safety latch.

Overall a pleasant stay but I'd be reluctant to call this a luxury hotel, more of a smart B&B. Rm 105 needed some TLC with paint peeling from certain areas due to the lack of ventilation.  There's lots of hard floors so you hear people walking around upstairs and as Rm 105 was close to reception, you often heard people in the corridor.

Great location and friendly staff

Arrived in the morning to a very warm and helpful greeting to be told we had been upgraded for the first 2 nights of the holiday room was nice but shower leaked and soaked the whole bathroom floor, have to pre order breakfast and eat off a tray in your room.. there are pictures at a table with a buffet don’t understand that. Not a 24hour reception so didn’t feel completely secure. Very thin walls and ceiling could here everything and loud people walking upstairs all night. Very good location easily walk into the centre the staff were great aswel. 

Great location but not a luxury boutique

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rome Eco suites for a 3 night break to explore Rome. 
After arriving we were surprised to learn that our room was not ready especially as they had emailed us the day before to check our arrival time but we went to a nearby cafe and returned within an hour.
When we did check in the manager was very pleasant and knowledgable and showed us to our room which was located in the basement. Very large room and clean, decorated with rose petals and prosecco (which I ordered) we were happy.
Breakfast is served in your room or outside in their courtyard as there is no dining area, breakfast was nice and good choice.
After returning from our first day out we were shocked to find our bedroom door wide open!! ...we later learned that there was a kitchen store room situated In our room and the Staff wanted access as we were relaxing as they hadn’t locked the door! 
Only one window in our room which didn’t close properly and had no blind -  if you stood in the courtyard you could see straight into our bathroom, so beware if you have this room! 
We also learnt that because of bad ventilation to this room it started to smell very moldy.
It’s small things that can reflect your point of view, perhaps a different room would of been different.
The hotel is situated in a great place with cafes and restaurants a short walk away.


3 Night short break

Looking at previous reviews, obviously nobody was in the "standard" room!!! 
And boy was it worse than standard...and not at standard prices!! The only room available, funny that! 
The pictures and write up say luxury so PLEASE show me luxury.
We arrived early Sunday morning to receive an email saying come through the broken gate and your key will be left in an envelope. No room number on the door only a sheet of paper with a map.
SURPRISE!!! A shoe box for a room...
A lamp with no working bulb, a window with no curtains only tie backs and no knowledge that there was an outside electric blind that you could close so lack of sleep and the sound of bin men early in the morning light, DAY 1.
Breakfast..lol!!! Cereal in a tea cup, coffee had to be made in your room with a coffee machine that was nowhere near a plug and unclean cups. Juice given in a carton and sandwich bread wet on one side. Oh yes LUXURIOUS!!!!!!
Was told we may be able to change rooms, alas we waited and waited.
In all the days we were there the floor was not hoovered as the same dirt was under the table, the same dust on the skirting, the same lamp still without a bulb, the toilet seat still moving when sat on even though it "has been fixed" said by receptionist.

We admit it was in a good location and some may say the room is of importance but PLEASE...do not call the ROME ECO SUITES a luxury boutique!!!
