40 reviewsA smallish but sympathetically reimagined restored traditional home of the region. Family run with passion with all the facilities needed for comfort and relaxation. Immaculately clean, quiet and peaceful. Safe location for children. A way station on the Via Francogena, Cillian is on the outer fringes of St. Vincent near to the Ponte Romano. If you want immediate access to the centre, perhaps you should look elsewhere but Cillian and MonCervin offers unique delights not to be found “downtown”. If you are travelling by car, access is no problem but parking in Cillian is confined to the village parking area about 150 metres from the property. If coming by train, Chatillon is the station and then by taxi or the local 493 bus which runs very regularly to St. Vincent and Cillian (Centro or Inferiore stops). The bus can take you to St Vincent and back in the evening for dinner if you want to avoid the walk. The only thing to bear in mind is that the property is not the simplest to access for anyone with mobility problems. There are some stairs involved to most rooms. But help is usually at hand with luggage and the like. All in all, MonCervin is a gem.
