Wow,  if only all hotels could be as good as this!

The girl on reception was super friendly on our arrival, and asked about our journey. After checking us in, she  took us to our room, which was on the third floor, and overlooked the lake. It also had a small balcony. 

The rest of the room was spacious and pleasant.

Breakfast is taken on the first floor, overlooking the Promenade and the Lake. The staff there can't do enough to help you. There are plenty of items to help yourself to, plus a dozen or so that you can order from the kitchen (eg: Caprese, Raw Ham & Melon, eggs to order etc).

Apart from the fabulous location, our one lasting memory is the friendliness of all the staff,

A lovely hotel in a wonderful location, directly on the promenade overlooking the lake.  

The owners were super nice, kind and friendly.  The offer of a drink on arrival was a nice touch.  They were very accommodating and helped with any queries we had during our stay.  All the staff, from reception, breakfast room and room service were professional and friendly.

The breakfast room overlooking the lake was lovely, with a good selection of cereals, fruit and cooked eggs etc.

We stayed on the top floor in one of the three Luxury Lago rooms overlooking the lake.  The view was amazing, and the large balcony was a lovely space to chill out and relax.  The room itself was big, bright and had everything needed.

The location was perfect, right on the lakeside in the old town, everything was close by, including the ferry stop. 

We spent a lovely week here and we wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else if we ever come to Salo again.

Fabulous hotel and location

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, all staff very welcoming and could not do enough for you, rooms cleaned and very well equipped, the breakfast had something for everyone including thr BEST croissants! I would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel 

 Beautiful family hotel 

Amazing location right on the front of the lake, the view from our balcony was stunning. Staff are so friendly right from the off, meet us outside when we arrived and showed us to our room. Advised us on where to go and what to see on our first visit and gave us discount vouchers for the boat taxi which was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious plenty of selection, continental buffet style with super fresh produce and also a hot menu to order from, food was delicious and service impeccable.

Rooms are lovely clean and quite modern god Italy, comfy bed, good shower and bathroom, balcony/lake view was definitely worth the extra.

Nothing I can fault, the ferry stop is also just outside, 2 minute walk if that taking you to anywhere you want to go on the lake.

Would absolutely recommend this hotel, the staff and the location and would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel Vigna amazing

This lovely family-run hotel is situated right on the pedestrianised lake-front in Salo.  We stayed in a lovely room with lake view and terrace which enabled us to enjoy the wonderful scenery and watch the world go by.  Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses plus the options of eggs, bacon, pancakes etc fresh from the kitchen - all while enjoying a view of the lake.
All staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly, and we benefitted from their advice on various trips and bike hire.  There is a small bar where you can order drinks at any time and sit comfortably in the lounge area inside or outside.  
A short walk from the hotel along the promenade takes you to the centre of town with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops.  It is also only a few minutes' walk to catch a boat to other parts of the lake.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Vigna and Salo as an ideal location for a visit to Lake Garda. 

Wonderful Holiday at Hotel Vigna

Really a nice hotel in a beautiful location. It is literally right on the waterfront, very near to a considerable number of restaurants and shopping opportunities. The room was basic but comfortable, and it included a safe. The bathroom was well-equiped. The breakfast room was pleasant and offered a good variety. Parking is a short hike away, but the hotel offers the ability to drive right up to the front doors on what is otherwise a pedestrian-only street. Perhaps most important, the staff was kind and helpful when we managed to leave our passports behind. We very much appreciated their efforts to minimize our inconvenience. 

It's ranked No. 1 in Salo for a reason

We have just returned from our 4th visit and we can endorse all the high praise for Filippo, Roberta and all the staff at the Vigna. We had a lake view with terrace, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. The buffet breakfast is extensive and there are now additional options available from the kitchen and served by friendly staff. The location is excellent, just by the ferry stop and in walking distance of a wide variety of bars and restaurants. 
We will definitely return and we cannot recommend highly enough.

Simply perfect

First time in the Brescia beach of the Garda. This long-term structure, in a quiet position, offered us a beautiful stay experience for 4 nights. Room and common areas very well maintained and clean: at the limit I would advise to increase the lighting in the bathroom because the shower corner remains a little dark (non-injurious detail). A breakfast room on the 1st floor with lake view: discrete assortment of sweet and salty with possibilities of other preparations from the kitchen.

Perfect experience

Hotel with ideal location: in the center of the lagoon. Common areas and rooms very clean, staff always available and friendly. A rich breakfast, with a sweet and salty assortment, and additional preparations at the request of the customer.

What a pleasant stay.

It's worth a trip again and again. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is well equipped, very well maintained with a great view of the lake. Especially to mention the really excellent breakfast. Have been there many times and will come back.
