Hotel Ferrara

I have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion and I just love it. It's located on a quiet street but still within walking distance (2-4 blocks) of the beach and many nearby restaurants and stores. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean, and affordable. The rooms I have stayed in had a private bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, television, and balcony with retractable awning. The hotel also has many free bicycles for guests to use and automobile parking and internet access are also complimentary. Breakfast always includes a nice selection of daily fresh pastries, bread, and beverages and they make the best cappuccino ever. The helpfulness and friendliness of the owner and staff are exceptional. I know from my own experience that they will go out of their way to help you if you need it and I have observed them doing the same for other guests. They are always willing to provide reliable recommendations on other local businesses as well as other useful travel advice. A few words about the city of San Benedetto del Tronto. It's a very bike friendly city with great food and beautiful beaches. The city has more free beaches than other Adriatic resort cities I have visited. Many of the beach areas have small parks located between the beach and the street. There is also an abundance of beachfront businesses that rent umbrellas and chairs, provide food and beverage, and include other entertainment such as beach games, volleyball courts, and kayak rentals.
