My 2012 review is true, we were treated very badly, you turned off the conductors to avoid using electricity. In winter, if you are not equipped for heating, you have to close. We folded into a beautiful, heated 4-star hotel, 70 euros a night spent very well.

The truth hurts.

The worst part of my trip is that the owner is a wolf with sheep's skin. At first everything was wonderful, but after you informed him of your journey so that you could arrive out of time. He simply does not open and logically does not refund the money. He quotes you at the time of Mass so that you may know, in one of those to calm down his way of acting. At 2:36 in the morning, as I said, he did not open, forcing me to go and find lodging at that time even though he always kept him informed of my delay, by an airline strike and the last bus from Foggia at 22 hours.

It is NOT recommended.

We got under the door and after several phone calls, the booking went unnoticed and the rooms were occupied. We were taken to a 3-star hotel (tendering to 2), with air conditioning on the way and with the beautiful surprise when we arrived that the hotel closes at midnight... so our summer vacation was with the clock in view at night so we didn't sleep outside!

Booking forgotten

It is located in an excellent location near a pastry shop for excellent breakfasts, in the very characteristic historic center and especially a few minutes from the shrine of Padre Pio.

Drying

I rented two rooms for two days. Luciano's reception was perfect. clear and synthetic instructions on what was to be known. practically only at the beginning and at the end, but this sense of abandonment is actually a sign of so much trust in the customers, who have total freedom and autonomy. however, he answers the phone immediately for any need (even for valuable information about the surroundings). for the rooms nothing except: everything is in order and clean. if then we add that the prices are really modest, this solution radiates perfection. the Wi-Fi is free and available in all the rooms. I take the opportunity to thank Luciano for the reception and service provided.

So much for a small price.

We were in this beb in March 2017 and I was looking forward to reviewing it!! I tell you right away that it has an excellent position, in fact the bus that leads from Foggia to S.Giovanni round, leaves you exactly in front of the beb. In addition, it is about 700m from the sanctuary of Padre Pio and you can choose to take a walk or take the bus that leaves in front of the sanctuary. The room, was extremely clean and cozy, with bathroom with shower and bidet (and I assure you that it is not very little... you saw the beb in northern Italy where to find a private bath costs a fortune and then is not equipped with bidet!!!).

a great compromise between kindness, convenience and economy.

We spent two nights in this b&b.. gentle owner yes.. but very uncomfortable beds.. we got up with a sore bone that I won't tell you!! I wanted to take a shower without wet my hair but it's not possible because the shower is fixed so either you wash all or nothing.. the air conditioner pays apart 10 euros a day.. I asked for a reducer for the back of the phone that I brought home and there were none.. I was told to use one of the two available phones there but neither of them had the reducer so I had to buy it apart.. anyway I don't know if I would go back..

So and so.

It accommodates 8 people. Stayed on the eve of Easter 2017. Very kind and available property. The indispensable at a good price.

Travel to San Giovanni Rotondo

THIS IS A VERY TRUCHED, IN THE FIRST PLACE NOT in the center and near the Sanctuary as it says in its offer, the address they indicate is a closed garage, there is no one, if not for a neighbor who saw a cell phone and called the concierge who was not there, and came by bike, nothing he says has.. everything is distant.. and I paid in advance through Despegar.com..the fee we were charged was 40 E. fine. (the truth that I was a fool to pay him) -.. it's cheap, but not even that.. it's a karma. Please let them know if they have experiences of this kind don't cheat.

I've been to this B&B recently, the place is very cozy, my room was very clean and orderly, Mr. Luciano is a very generous person, I'd like to recommend and I'll be happy to come back.
