We were lucky enough to be invited to our friends wedding at this location and I am still in awe and would like to move in if it were possible. Rooms are spacious and each have a bathroom which is great!  Our host Michaele was great and very hospitable! The grounds are extensive and great for walks. Sitting pool side was relaxing and much needed after the hustle and bustle of touring Italy. I was worried about the rooms not having AC but we didn't need it. We opened the windows and the breeze was sufficient along with a fan to feel comfortable and cold . 100% recommend!!!

AMAZING TIME!

In September, I spent three weeks at Casa Bini with family and friends .  We have been to Italy many times, but Casa Bini is really the most extraordinary place we have ever stayed.  We rented both villas, and could not have been happier with the accommodations.  The rooms are beautiful and the location is breathtaking.  However, what makes Casa Bini truly exceptional are the hosts, Paul and Rose.  My husband and I had gone to see Casa Bini last summer, in anticipation of planning a family vacation in 2014.  We loved the villa, but it was the instant connection with Paul and Rose, that made us feel they would make this a memorable vacation, and it truly was.  Having read some of the other guests' comments about them,and I couldn't agree more.  Their warmth and hospitality exceeded our expectations.  There aren't enough adjectives to describe how special and fun these two people are!!!

The villa is centrally located for day trips to Florence and all the beautiful Tuscan hill towns. They helped make arrangements for sightseeing, got tickets for the museums, planned a wine tasting at an amazing vineyard, and provided transportation, when needed.  There was no request that wasn't met.  
  
The meals, wine and laughs we shared every evening were truly extraordinary.  Rose is a great cook, and the wines from the villa's vineyards were also wonderful.  Pizza night is a definite must...Paul makes these in a wood burning stove in the villa, and they were a delicious. 

An added bonus were their three incredible children, Mia, Eva and Luca.  We brought our 2 1/2 year old grandson, and they made this vacation really special for him.

We plan on visiting Casa Bina again and again, to spend more time in a most beautiful place, with this extraordinary family.

WHAT CAN I SAY...A TRULY AMAZING VACATION SPOT

We had a fantastic week long break here (myself, my partner and our two small kids 6 and 4 years old).   We were in the Botticelli villa, which has three double size rooms and lots of downstairs accommodation (large lounge, separate large dining room and large rustic kitchen).  This was August, and the temperature in the villa was nice thanks largely to the hill stop position. 

The whole site is along a long track from the nearest road and as a consequence is really well isolated from the every-day world at the top of a hill with vines down one side and forest and farm land in every direction around.   It feels like (and is) a genuine old Tuscan farmhouse set up, and the owners (Paul and Rose) have done a great job of providing the expected mod-cons while keeping the feel true to the location. 

On site there is also 
- a good sized outdoor pool complete with a nearby changing hut to make the whole setup easier (particularly with kids).  
- a large patio/veranda where Paul and Rose hosted dinners and pizza nights on request (well worth doing - the kids loved making their own pizza's in original Italian style complete with seeing it baked in the old pizza oven which is part of the larger villa) 
- dinners served in your villa (available with a little notice) with wine from the vineyard outside your window!!  The food all was fantastic and genuinely Tuscan. 

While here we took daily trips to nearby towns and villages, which were not in short supply.   You will need a hire car given the location but getting around couldn't have been easier.   Florence is amazing and could absorb a week all on it's own; it's in very easy reach (best to drive to Empoli for this one and take the regular and direct trains right into the heart of the city).  

Also in easy drive are Siena and San Gimignano, and only slightly further is Lucca which I'd thoroughly recommend a trip to (hire some bikes and pedal around the tree lined city walls).   We even took a slightly longer drive one day to Viareggio - which is a real riviera style resort with some fantastic art deco features in the beach front properties.

All in all this was a fantastic trip (the kids have been asking when we're going back to "the Italy house") and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here whether you are a family, couple, or larger group.

Fantastic all round - great location, easy reach of some amazing places, and great hosts.

I stayed here for over two weeks in September. Going up the nearly one-mile driveway for the first time, I knew it was a special place. We passed bee hives, the vineyard, and vistas of rolling hills looking out onto distant towns.  Cypress trees lined parts of the drive and it felt like the quintessential Tuscan location. The villas are historic buildings, constructed in the Tuscan vernacular style. They sit atop a rise and the views delight the eyes. I took numerous long walks and a few hikes through the vineyard, across meadows and into the surrounding woods. Rosemary and fennel grow wild on the property.  Their fragrances enliven the air, and we often harvested both for seasoning our meals.

Staying here was like visiting the home of a beloved relative. I felt at home immediately, and it's not only the villa and its location that makes it so, it's also Paul and Rose, the couple who run Casa Bini while also raising their three delightful children. Paul and Rose are incredibly kind, caring, and generous. They are also a lot of fun! I left feeling as if I made friends for life, and will return to Casa Bini soon.

It's a perfect place to relax, use as a base for exploring Tuscany or anything you might imagine doing in a spectacular one-of-a-kind place. 

Highly recommended, and you may not want to leave.

Classic Tuscan villa in an unforgettable setting run by two of the best people you could ever meet.

Our Tuscany vacation at Casa Bini exceeded our expectations!  We were a large group and were perfectly accommodated!  The setting is stunningly beautiful, the villa classic, comfortable and lovely, and Paul and Rose the warmest nicest most welcoming hosts, who became part of our group family.  The Tuscan dinner table became the activity of the evening with lots of laughter, great wine and food (we had our own wonderful chef!)  Centrally located were were able to take day trips to Florence, San Gimingnano, Lucca, Certaldo, San Miniato & Empoli & an afternoon at a fabulous winery.  If you go to Empoli be sure to eat at Lortos and have the best Gnocchi in the world with cart driver sauce!  Paul and Rose made sure we had everything we needed for transportation and helped book the museums in Florence and Rome.  I can't imagine better hosts...Paul even hosted wood fired pizza night and cooked about 20 pizzas in the enormous pizza oven. Yummy!
The pool provided great exercise and we used it when we were not on the move. I will always treasure the memories of our Tuscan vacation at Casa Bini.

A  most delightful vacation. So much more than we ever anticipated !  The special touch was from
 ROSE & PAUL the managers at Casa Bini. We felt so at home being so far away from our own home. We got the real feel of life in Tuscany  which is  what we where looking for. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives. Thank you Rose & Paul , you really know how to run your establishment with TLC.
