He came for San Remo Rock, and I decided at the last minute to join him. I had booked him into an inexpensive apart-hotel, and thought ok it is big enough for me too, and the dog. Well, I really lucked out! This place is fantastic. The studio with a view is lovely. Someone really invested in this place to make an attractive, comfortable, efficient modern hotel in an 18th century building. First, there is a new elevator so no lugging luggage up the stairs. The room is large with two big windows that open, and an AC that works!  We have a fully equipped kitchen, including a (fancy Italian) coffee machine, an electric kettle, a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, stovetop and sink. The bathroom is large and modern with a bidet (Italians are obsessed and insist on having a bidet), a sink, toilet and large shower--and nice big (and small) towels. Oh, and a modern hair dryer. TV, video and free WIFI all work exceptionally well. Furnished with an extra-large double bed (and extra blankets and pillow), table, chairs, sofabed, closet and drawers, coat hooks at the door, even nice art on the alls; AND the place is immaculate--with daily cleaning. Like I said, what luck!

WOW did we ever LUCK OUT here--great place at the center of town!

The hosts were very good with communication and were very understanding, even when we were quite late to arrive!

When we arrived we were found the apartment well equipped and comfortable and with everything we needed for a short self catered stay. The bed was a good size, the bedroom/kitchenette is separated by a built in cupboard but the layout was fine for us. A good size and with enough separation between dining/sleeping area.

Bathroom was also good, with a powerful shower. The water got super hot very easily though (so be careful!).

Location wise, we couldn't have picked a better place. We were right in the heart of town, 2 mins from main bus station, 5-10 mins from train station and about 15-20 to the free beach. There are dining options right on the doorstep including a good bakery.

Would recommend highly to any couples or small families.

Excellent Location, Quality & Value

I had a great vacation sitting in this apartment. Alessandro - the host is very nice and it will help you with anything. Little problems with Wi-Fi but if you ask Alessandro to restart the router will be fine.

Vacation

Location is super you right on the square and the city center shooing street starts like 10 meters from the door.
Rooms are very roomy fully equipped with kitchen, fridge, dishwasher etc. It has a good size bathroom and the place is nice and clean.
Plus the owner is very friendly and helpful by showing you without asking on a map where you can find what in Sanremo.
You can maybe find something little cheaper but it was well worth the price.
Had a great stay in Sanremo and I would definitely recommend the Colombo apartments.

Very nice

I spent 3 nights at Colombo, it's right in the heart of town across the road from the bus station and walking distance to everything. The owner could not have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. On the last day there was a train strike and I needed to get somewhere, he went out of his way to get info for me and even came with me to the bus stop to ensure I got on the right one.
The apartment itself was even better than I'd hoped for, had everything including full kitchen fridge and dishwasher, was spacious and quiet. For the price it was amazing value.
I could not fault this property and would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, I will return for sure.
