It probably stands on the ruins of an ancient watchtower which includes its ancient stones. Then it was a country house with barns. Today it is a very clean country house. Nothing is left to chance, everything is very neat and well done. The perfect furnishings will immerse you in a past but elegant time. The managers are very kind and available. The breakfast is excellent. Not to be overlooked is also the lit fireplace that made the atmosphere even more welcoming

We booked three rooms with friends to attend a wedding nearby. We had a wonderful stay in this charming country house. Lucilla the who hosted us was very kind and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend staying there. 

A wonderful stay in a charming country house

I was looking for a quiet place, in the middle of nature in the most total silence and I found it! Fantastic house, steeped in green with breathtaking views, wonderful rooms, impeccable cleanliness, great sweet and salty breakfasts not to mention the fantastic apricena accompanied by a wonderful glass of red wine An indescribable peace, I spent two days with my dog in total relaxation Managers Carlo and Lucilla two fantastic people, of a unique sympathy, very kind, they made me spend two days in a fairy tale Thank you guys, you guys, I already miss you ❤❤ A soon 😘😘

Great experience. I found everything I needed.

Rustico beautifully renovated in the heart of the Apennini romagnoli. Five minutes from Sant'Agata Feltria and twenty minutes from Pennabilli. Immerse in a fabulous countryside view, perfect for relaxing. As soon as we returned with a large family using both apartments, We were able to enjoy the garden with fabulous tomatoes and vegetables. The reception of the owner Luca is exquisite and available in today's demand. The interiors are like a photo, treated with every comfort and accessory (including wi-fi) without losing the cozy and natural climate of mountain life.

We stayed in July the first thing that strikes is the great availability of the owner who is also interested in giving the directions as you arrive, the house is very beautiful, has three rooms and you can use the kitchen, the view on the valley is really remarkable, in the evening then you enjoy an invaluable peace; excellent and abundant breakfast, super kind Mr. Luca a welcome more than familiar

A truly memorable weekend with family and friends. A wonderful location! A fantastic location, room with bathroom, super big and beautiful. A good and abundant breakfast. A beautiful kitchen, in the evening we cooked and ate together. The parking was very convenient. The price was right. In the morning we enjoyed a beautiful view and admired the horses grazing in the ground next to us. Really wonderful!

It's a beautiful place.

When you first find this cute stone country house, it appears small and in the middle of nowhere. OK, it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but what a wonderful nowhere it is! The property is fenced and gated and very private. From the front it appears small. Once you are inside, there is a lovely, well appointed kitchen and a huge great room beyond. On the main level there are two bedrooms and two baths. On the lower level there are three bedrooms and baths and another kitchen. Since it was only the two of us and our small cat, we stayed on the main floor. We were very comfortable and happy with our choice. The beds are pleasant, but in an old-fashioned way. Rather hard and bouncy! Not a "real" problem though. The views from the rear windows and from the back terrace are breathtaking. Luca was disappointed that we did not require breakfast. We plan to return to this lovely Italian paradise again next year with friends in tow. It would be a great friends vacation house...and then we may take Luca up on the B&B! Super place! And well located to a great restaurant and not to far into town. And, by-the-way, the castle-town you can see in the distance, is reachable via the road to the left out of the gate...many great surprises near this retreat! (NOT A HOTEL)

A very special, lovely stone country house

My experience was very positive because I lived in an old stone country house in contact with nature, about seven hundred meters high, with panoramic views of Val Marecchia, the medieval village of Petrella Guidi and the Sasso Simone and Simoncello park.

In making our way from Rimini back to Rome we had  4 days spare so we pulled off the highway to see what we could find and explore an unknown area to us. Having earlier been in Tuscany and having just come from Venice via Rimini we found the region around Sant’Agata Feltria absolutely breathtaking. That being the case we drove around looking for an agriturismo or hotel to stay in. By chance we came across La Busca a few kilometres outside the beautiful village. I haven't stayed in anything quite like it. It is not typically agritursimo nor is it classically b&b. La Busca is a beautiful stone cottage with incredible views. It has 4 or 5 bedrooms that are available to rent. Lucky for us we stayed 4 nights but only had to share the house on our final evening. The house has a kitchen upstairs and a further one downstairs. I take it that if you rent a room downstairs that you would use the downstairs kitchen but we didn't follow that rule as we liked the one upstairs better. Each day the owners would arrive to make us breakfast and stay around long enough to clean up after us. On our first morning I found this rather intruding as you feel like they are walking around in your personal space. But after that we relaxed into it and enjoyed the nice spread they prepared for us. Internally and externally the house is very beautiful and very well decorated. The bonus is the incredible views that extends all the way to San Marino which is about 45 mins away from memory. Something that I was keen to try but never got around to was the wood fired pizza/bread that was built alongside the cottage. Maybe next time!

I am not sure I like the idea of sharing this place as it is like being in someones home and not knowing those you live with, so renting out the whole place might be the way to go. Rates were 30 euro per night for adults and 20 euro per night for kids. They didn't charge for our baby. 

Having stayed in Tuscan Villas 3 times, I think next visit I will make my way back to this area. It would be a similar holiday yet scenically I think it's actually more beautiful. It is certainly less touristy which was a real bonus.

Funilly enough, when looking for somewhere to stay we came across a camping ground run by some lovely dutch people. They were very surprised to find some Aussies in this part of Italy but commeded us for finding one of the best parts of Italy. I think the area is better known by the dutch and perhaps german tourists. Anyway, they gave us the details of La Busca together with a few other places which was incredibly nice and helpful.
