A gem in the Italian countryside

This place is perfection. Every single square inch of the resort is beautiful and elegant. Riccardo is the consummate host. His talent for hospitality is only exceeded by his culinary skills. 

I cannot say enough good things about this magical gem!

Closest place to heaven.

My boyfriend and I booked a room for 2 weeks, with our luck, Riccardo made us such a perfect offer to use the apartment. Could not be better! We arrived at the beautiful place and it even looked better than the pictures! Riccardo is such a nice host, was always there if we needed anything and informed us about the area and well equipped apartment a lot. Everything was very clean, no inconveniences appeared and we had much fun. The garden is wonderful, with lots of vegetables and fruit. The pool with additional shower was just perfect to cool down from a hot day and the sunsets with a stunning view were amazing. Reaching a supermarket from the apartment was no problem and you were fully equipped after a visit. So no worrys about food had to be made. 
We had the most wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave this paradise with such beautiful surroundings.
We even got a small gift from Riccardo as we left. He truly has passion in hosting this place and is like a friend.
We would definitely visit Il Piccio Verde again!

Most wonderful place in Italy !

We booked 5 nights in July 2017. Ricardo, the host, was very helpful. He runs this beautiful B&B with lots of love. The house has a wonderful setting with an amazing view, the garden is beautifully maintained and the pool is the max. We stayed in the house on the top floor: a big room with lots of space and nice furnished. Ricardo helped us for booking restaurants and day trips (wine tasting). We had the most lovely, cozy evenings together with him and other guests.  Thanks Ricardo you are the best!
We'll meet again next year!!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful part of Le Marche

This was the second year in Our Paradise. 
The apartment, the Swimmingpool, the garden, le Marche, the italian people and the food, everything is awesome. Thanks Ricardo for your hospitality and guiding us to the good restaurants.

Holiday in Paradise

Our stay here was wonderful. A old farmer house that was just renovated and it is sow nicely done on every little detail and respect for materials and the surrounding. We stayed at the brand new apartments, which are very modern decorated with everything you need, the host Ricardo was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome! He told us about the house and neighborhood and give us some good tips for nice restaurants! The pool is very nice and clean and the best part is the view! It is breathtaking! If you're looking for a nice place to stay? Don't look any further! This is the best place to stay at! Highly recommended!!' Thanks Ricardo for your hospitality and pleasant stay!!

Actually we will keep this B&B/ appartments in secret, but on the other hand; this accomodation needs to be booked by as much as possible tourists.
Owned by an family and runs by 2 brothers this B&B/ appartments are amazing!
Started this year for the first time and never met some guys that has so much intention to make the best of your stay.
First of all the moment you arrive and see the position in the landscape; just down an hill but still on >500m height with nothing than hills and valleys around it. The sundown is beautiful. Than the garden; in perfect condition with lot's of herbs, vegetables and fruit trees/ bushes. If your, just like me, like to cook every evening this garden gives so much you can use in your meals. The appartments (2 in total), where we stayed; placed back - to - back under 1 roof, big enough for 2 adults (kids are not allowed, perfect for us). Nice modern furnitures, good fitted and equipped kitchen. (big + is that if you miss something the men arrange immediately that it will be delivered the same day) Our terrace, foreseen with an "roof" made of wooden beams and PVC cloth to protect you from sunrays and rain, was large enough to take place with 8 persons. Nice big swimming pool with umbrella's and comfortable sunchairs/ - beds, very clean! The brothers are there when you need them, but leave you as much as possible on your own. They speak different languages which makes communication very easy, very friendly and very, very polite. What I wrote before; they have the attention to make your stay as the best you have ever had. (at the end of our stay they asked for feedback what can be better in the future!)Lot of advises what to do in the region are given by them to us, some very interesting adresses to purchase very good wine or nice food. Big supermarkets with a lot of products are to reach in an half hour (Tolentino), an small bakery (with "pane integrale" and "multi cereali" bread) is just down the hill, an 3 minutes ride with your car. Based on that, and the region in particular, it's no problem to stay for 2 or 3 weeks on this beautiful location. Small restored villages are in the neighborhood, but large shopping outlet centres are to reach in 45 minutes too. (they are from a very high quality with premium brands like Prada and Tods) The beach is a small hour drive, but you would be glad to be back in Il Picchio Verde to enjoy the silence and rest! Is there nothing to tell that is negative??? Not negative in a big word; the sleeping place is positioned in the appartments on an mezzanine, made of an steelconstruction with steel stair and wooden flooring. The height, it's close under the roof, is a problem based that the roof is decent constructed. Waking up in the middle of the night is beware not to hit your head to the wooden beams, the toilet is positioned on the ground floor, the main reason you have to get out of the bed! Based that the "sleeping room" is made of an open structure the heat of the day stays just below the roof. (there is no airconditioning in the appartments, but complain about the heat was solved by the brothers to have an ventilator the same evening in the appartment, perfect service again what makes sense) Further the smell of what's cooked that evening stays for a long time under the roof, warm air rises after all. But taking care with these small downsides it wasn't a big issue for us, and in my opinion for nobody. Using the ventilator and the opportunity to ventilate the appartment by opening all the windows and the sliding doors makes the stay still very pleasant. So; looking for an place that comes close to "paradise"; here it is!
