The best place for holiday!!! Very nice and comfortable to visit old cities like for exapmle...Piza, Florence and Lucca. Stunning views, breathtaking area and absolutely amazing owner - it's not possibile to not come back here!!! Thank You Dario for everything❣️

Marvellous stay in Toscany!

We spent a wonderful holiday in Tuscany discovering aromas and flavors.

Magical places and good atmosphere for all family.

Tuscany is a wonderful region in central Italy, this region is near the sea and offers beautiful hilly landscapes. Typical good food and good wine.

Nice farm and excellent services

We spent 5 days in this beautiful place , the owner was very hospitable and always available for anything we asked. The swimming pool is treated with some smell less chlorine , we definitely recommend it if you are looking forward a restful holiday 

Amazing place

Took a bit of finding but once there, it's a great place to relax and wind down. Dario and Riccardo are very welcoming hosts and on hand with tips for shops/restaurants etc. 

Great swimming pool, lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the accommodation (we had plenty of space) is fine.
You need a car to get around. Nearest small grocery shops are in Orciano Pisano. Closest beaches probably at Vada. 

Would recommend Il Poggio Alla Pieve for anyone who wants to get away from it all

Relax

We (two adults, one kid) stayed one week at „Poggio al Pieve“. The facility is situated approx. 30 minutes away from the next smalltown with supermarket or gas station; as we did not see any kind of public transportation nearby a car is necessary. Small restaurants are available 4km away. Although the place is situated quite good in the middle of a lovely landscape and has a nice pool, we were a bit disappointed. When we arrived, the owner (still don´t know his name) just gave us the key and asked for advance payment - but did not introduce us to the facility and later on he was available occasionally only. So we had to find out things like where to bring the waste, how to get the coins for the washing machine etc. on our own. In opposite we found a very friendly person in the owner´s father who takes care of the gardens and the pool. We had an appartment below the private rooms of the owners, who were very loud around noon and in the evening / night (until 11pm). Also, the owner´s wife celebrated her birthday during our stay which caused the situation that their whole family –approx. 25 people- occupied the pool jumping and partying (apparently many guests felt a bit uncomfortable). All this might be regarded as typical italian by some people, but I never faced such behaviour in my six trips to Italia before. Parts of the apartment and esp. of the kitchen were quite dirty when we arrived. Obviously, even parts of the tableware had not been cleaned before our arrival so we found some mold. No WiFi available, TV has more than 250 programs (but all apart from one French in Italian language). So all in all, if you want to spend a peaceful time in a very, very rural part of Tuscany, this might be your place if you have the luck not to get the room we had. We do not intend to return, as the price was not that low (130 EUR/night for the apartment only) and for that amount of money you can surely get better quality...
