This is a small independent hotel run by the same family for over 60 years. The rooms are functional with comfy beds and are immaculately clean The food is great and the owners go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can honestly say it has been one of the best ski hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in 👍

Best Ski hotel in Sauze

Just returned from a weeks stay at this beautiful hotel. Run by 2 amazing sisters who can’t do enough for you (and we certainly needed there help)! The hotel is spotless  and rooms cleaned every day, change of towels as and when you required them. We were only B&B and the continental breakfast was a lovely start to your daily skiing. Without doubt I would recommend this hotel. Very central to all amenities..

Perfect for a skiing week

Fabulous small, cosy and homely hotel which feels more like a chalet.  A couple of minutes walk from the village centre and 5-10 minutes walk to the Clotes lift. We kept our skis in a deposit by the lift but there was an option to store at the hotel.  The hotel is spotlessly clean and the owners,  Claudia and Elena, are fantastic hosts who were efficient yet friendly and great with our 10 year old daughter. The adjoining single bedroom for our daughter was a big plus for us.  The highlight though was the beautiful home cooked food every evening - soup or pasta to start, then a meat dish, and finally dessert. Comfortable lounge area to relax in after dinner too with tv, books and games. We loved it and hope to visit again one day! 

Fabulous!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to stay at when visiting Sauze for a skiing or walking holiday. It is family run hotel serving home cooked meals in the heart of the resort. The rooms are comfortable and facilities great. The two sisters who run the hotel are very friendly and hands on. We will be back.

Biancaneve Hotel Sauze D’Oulx

My family of four stayed over Christmas and we had a lovely stay!
Amazing food! Basic but good breakfast, fresh bread and crossiants every morning. Ham, cheese and boiled eggs and cereal every morning, you can't complane.
Evening meals were amazing! Pasta or soup for starter, main course would be a meat or veg then desserts were always fresh and local. 
The two sisters were lovely and always accommodating. The two waitresses that also worked were always there to help. 
The rooms were spacious and always clean. However, beds were slightly hard and only one pillow and we had quite a small radiator for the size of the room so struggled to warm and dry clothes and room was sometimes cold, but didn't affect our stay. 
Smart TVs located in room so option for Netflix and Youtube was good!
We used the lockers on the slope which were £20 per person which was worth it.

Brilliant stay, lovely food and hosts

Stayed for week to ski, could not have been more welcomed. Any questions are answered with real local knowledge. The whole place is so clean. Food is real home made and very good. Nothing more to say, they just do everything needed very well. With the most friendly attitude, makes a nice change  well done 👏

Old fashion fantastic service

Stayed here on a last minute trip due to our French ski trip not being able to go ahead. There were 4 couples in our party and we all loved it. The rooms were comfortable and much more modern than the generic photos imply. Great social lounge. Dining room well laid out to separate big loud groups like ours and for couples. Food was plentiful, local and always tasty. All staff were friendly and always helpful. Location was great for skiing and apres. We walked up to the lift daily in shoes after renting a locker on the first day which was top tip. The lockers are super swish and worth every penny. Drinks not included on the catered package but a good selection available at very reasonable rates. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as the superm. Nextdoor to the cinema. Quiet location though. Rooms were lovely and warm always and powerful showers. €5 for a large beer and around €12 per litre of local wine which was very good. Breakfast was simple and the same daily but was sufficient. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. 

Home from home for a group of 8 friends

Claudia and Elena will look after you as their family for the week! Warm welcome on arrival, but no fuss. We had 2 rooms booked, we had requested a double and a twin and that's what we got.
Simple breakfast, plenty of cereal for kids plus fresh croissants and lots of coffee if needed. You choose your dinner courses during breakfast.
Good location less than 1 minute from the bus stop, a couple of minutes walk into Sauze itself.
Rooms are great, wonderful showers and plenty of hot water.
3 course dinner is home made and proper Italian cuisine. House wines are really good. Claudia cooks and Elena is a charming (and very efficient) host. We had a medical emergency one evening and Elena organised a trip to the doctor late at night, and went well above and beyond what she needed to do.
To sum up, a home from home for a week, really relaxed place, you will feel very welcome here!

Simply the best

We have had an absolutely fantastic week at Biancaneve and wouldn’t hesitate to return here! 

So many things to be positive about so I’ll keep it shortish…
- The Staff - The Hotel is run by two lovely ladies, they are always there is you need them. They were so welcoming from the minute we stepped into the hotel, and everyday when I got back home from skiing they would say ‘welcome home Anna’. The lady and gentleman serving dinner were lovely too, they couldn’t do enough for you and always polite. 
- The Accommodation - the hotel is situation a 5/10 minutes walk up a hill to the first chair lift. You can also get a bus up there if you struggle carrying everything. The rooms were spotlessly clean. They were thoroughly cleaned daily too which was lovely. 
- The Food - wow! So so so much food. It was delicious every night. We would be asked at breakfast what we wanted for dinner that evening. It’s a quaint dining room and so warm. Breakfast was simple continental with good coffee. 
- The Location - is just near the centre of the town which is great for Apres and everything else. It’s a 5 minute walk to the first chair lift and slightly longer to the next one. It’s not ski in and ski out, but not far off! 

Overall a fantastic stay. It really is one the most welcoming places that we have ever stayed. Thank you so much Biancaneve for a lovely time x
