Having very much enjoyed our stay at Chez Nous in February 2023 it was an easy decision to return for skiing Easter 2024. 

The chalet taxi service met us off the flight at Turin Airport and returned us on our departure day. 

We received a fantastic welcome from the family owners upon arrival and the chalet was as good if not better than we remembered. 

Very clean and comfortable en-suite rooms, generous breakfasts, post ski aperitifs and spuntini. 

The ski locker is just 50m from the chalet en-route to the lift (150m). 

The taxi-service, friendly chalet and proximity to the Jouvenceaux lift combined to make a very successful, happy and stress free ski holiday.

Super friendly, clean and comfortable chalet hotel.

We had the best time at Chalet Chez Nous last week. Nicoletta is the best chalet host we’ve ever had, so friendly, organised, helpful and fun!  Nothing was too much trouble, booking tables at restaurants, calling through takeaway orders, organising taxis and letting us know the best things to do or things to be aware of.

Sonya and Rosa were equally lovely and looked after us brilliantly every morning with a delicious breakfast. They were so friendly we really did feel like part of the family :)

The Chalet itself is spotlessly clean and our rooms were immaculate when we came back from the slopes every day.  The bathrooms especially were gleaming every single day. 

The bar area was lovely and cosy with the fire on every evening and board games to use. The wine was delicious (try Nicoletta’s favourite white wine) and really reasonably priced. Not to mention the apertivo with local ham and cheese, which was so tasty. 

The shuttle up to the village every evening was great.

Location wise it is perfect, just around the corner from the Jouvenceaux lift, where there were no queues at all and we were there in half term!  There is a heated ski room with boot warmers even closer to the lift.

It was a perfect week, we will definitely be back one day! 

PS take swimmers for a dunk in the fountain!

Just brilliant, perfect stay!

I cannot speak highly enough of Chalet Chez Nous. We received the warmest of welcomes and were looked after throughout our stay by the lovely Nicoletta and all her team.
Even persuading us to jump in the ice cold fountain outside the hotel - a memorable if not freezing fun holiday memory! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is amazing and the cozy evening bar with open fire and aperitivo is second to none. Perfect for skiers with a heated boot room and short walk to the Jouvenceaux lift up to Sportinia.

Best week with the best hospitality ever!

Excellent : This is a well equipped comfortable and cosy hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the bedrooms and bathrooms are great and there is a nice bar area for relaxation. We came for a skiing holiday in January 2024; the ski lift is a short walk away and the hotel has its own heated ski store very close to the lift. the hotel is a little down the hill from Sauze D'Oulx main town, where all the restaurants and bars are but the hotel offers a free shuttle service in the evening to take you to that area (with an easy downhill walk back 0f 10-15 minutes). Nico is a great hostess and leads the team, backed up by Sonja... the lovely young lady from Ukraine, and, of course the friendly Rosanna ... the owners mother... plus very friendly cleaning and other helpers. We will come again ... Mike and son Harrison from the UK

very cosy family run hotel

I nearly didn't write this as I'd hate to find I can't get availability next time I want to go. This chalet is fantastic a real gem, everyone is so friendly and welcoming and make you feel like one of the family. Niccolina kindly made our evening meal reservations surprising us with a fabulous restaurant each evening with a lift into town as well. Delicious charcuterie boards appeared each evening in the bar.  A great selection of food for breakfast. Chez Nous is only 1k from Sauze d'oulx, ski lockers halfway between chalet and ski lift so not far to carry your ski's. 
Would definitely go back.

Amazing chalet Chez Nous

Jouvenceaux is a beautiful hamlet just outside Sauze D'Oulx. 
This B and B is in the heart of the village and only a short walk to the ski lift, the ski locker owned by the establishment is even closer.
The rooms are warm and cosy and spotlessly clean.
Best of all though are the family who run the B and B, so here goes:
Thank you Umberto, Roberto, Andrea, andreea, Roseanna (lovely Roseanna) and especially the amazing Nicoletta (I am sorry that I have missed off a few but my thanks is to you all).
While I was staying here I sustained an injury and the family were all so kind.
I won't hesitate to recommend.
Also if you visit Jouvenceaux don't miss the 'art in the forest' - a wLk through a wooded area interspersed with sculptures - brilliant.

If its available- book it!!!

Chalet chez nous is really the best place. Andrea and his family will make sure that your stay feels like at home but still with professiobal service! They pick you up at the airport, Rosanna will take care of you at breakfast. They book and drive you to the restaurant at night and Nicoleta is at the bar from early afternoon until you'll call it a night. The hotel is close to the best chairlift that will take you to the mid station. This is a "hidden gem" that I would like to keep a secret but Andrea and the family deserves all the possible praise!

The best place in the alpes

We consider ourselves lucky to have secured a room at Chez Nous in the very prettiest part of Jouvenceaux  given that the majority of our fellow guests had returned year after year after year.  Chez Nous is perfectly placed for the fast lift (the heated ski locker room even closer), our room and modern ensuite was kept immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is an excellent choice for breakfast including ham, cheese and boiled eggs alongside the traditional Italian cakes and croissants. The ‘bits’ accompanying apres-ski aperitifs were generous even by Italian standards. The owners, very much a family team, make everyone really welcome and were very happy to recommend and book activities and restaurants for us and other guests. We travelled between Turin Airport and Chez Nous by public transport. Chez Nous also offers a transfer service which most of our fellow guests used.

A warm welcome and modern comfortable facilities within an easy walk to a fast lift

I cannot rave enough about the kindness I experienced in this bed and breakfast-style hotel. This is a family run business where everybody is seemingly working out of their love for the hospitality business. A couple and their son and daughter in law were present at all times and worked hard at making the experience truly special, from the free car rides to Sauze, to the help with securing tables at restaurants, to the care and attention to detail with which my room was serviced. You can tell that a lot of love goes into every aspect of their job. One of them even walked into the restaurant with me to make sure I had a table. And Nicoletta is a truly wonderful host at the desk. I will definitely return if I’m fortunate enough to be in the area.

Wonderful hospitality

Nice little hotel with decent rooms, good bathrooms, a cosy bar/lounge.  But best of all, the staff.  Owned and run by a family.  They were estremely helpful, arranging ski hire and restaurants and giving lifts to restaurants.  By the way, you need lifts because the Chez Nous to town walk is 485 feet elevation (up) in 0.7 of a mile!  But there is a great family-run ski hire shop very close, one of the lifts in very close and the hotel has a heated ski store just by that lift.  If you go to Sauze s'Oulx skiing I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
