The kindness of Daniela and the beauty of her garden and the rooms, simple and elegant, accompanied the first days of our stay. In this oasis the tranquility came in a second. Very good and rich breakfasts with her cakes and quality local products. There is also a beautiful swimming pool immersed in the garden rich in native species, from Indian figs to sea pines, peppers and so on.

Mediterranean oasis

Staying in this B&B has been a very pleasant experience, the owner is extremely kind and suggestive, never intrusive, very attentive to all needs. Clean and well furnished rooms, equipped with everything necessary.

Under the Palm of Courtesy

I was in this B&B for 3 nights in August and I must say I found myself very well. A peaceful oasis, where to relax or bathe in the swimming pool immersed in a Sicilian garden.The rooms, which are then mini apartments, are very comfortable and furnished with everything(we also had vape against mosquitoes) and were cleaned every day. Breakfast based on fruit, brioches, biscuits, in addition to of course tea, coffee, milk, cereals and yogurt was always fresh and abundant. Daniela (along with her dog Lillo) is an excellent owner, very little available and attentive.

An oasis of relaxation

Ideal location for visiting Sacha; rooms and apartments carefully maintained, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast with freshly picked fruit, to be consumed on the tables of the inner garden in a full relaxation dimension.

Relax in the Family

How happy we were to spend our three nights in the B&B Sotto La Palma! The warm welcome of our host Daniela, so attentive and caring, full of advice and addresses to discover places off the beaten paths; a wonderful garden with the scents of jasmine; fresh, copious and personalized breakfasts... In short, an address full of charm that I recommend to all and a perfect geographical location to visit Selinonte, the Scala dei Turchi or even Agrigento and its Valley of Temples.

After having been at this b&b a few years ago and having more than positive memories, I decided to go back to June this year. As always Daniela is always available, in accommodation, in tips and in breakfast i.e. the first lunch!!! I strongly recommend that you try it for sure you will not be disappointed. After days at the beach or visits to the beautiful Sicilian cities this b&b is just what you need!!!

Relax to 360*

Daniela provides you with comfortable accommodation which includes your own kitchen facilities, a great breakfast and loads of practical advice regarding sightseeing and the like. There is a good sized pool (though we never got time to use it!), wi-fi and secure parking. You must have your own transport as you are off the beaten track and you are advised to contact D in advance as finding the property is not easy but your reward is a peaceful oasis of calm. In terms of value for money, I defy you to beat Sotto la Palma!

Charming and great value

Great location, Great rooms, we had a lot fun and the breakfast was excellent.we were looking for a quiet and clam place as we are traveling with a new born, and we were very happy to arrived to B&B sotto la palma.   we will definitely come back.

Home away from Home

Small cottages set in large gardens provide the accommodations. ours was comfortable and although quite basic, the necessities were not lacking and the room was very clean at all times. It stayed cool in there and we were grateful. We had a little kitchen area as well so you can store wine and cheese etc.

the gardens are particularly nice - not pristine or ordered (too hot and dry for that) but rich and interesting. it has evolved over time and is the better for it. Pool is big enough and is welcome and quite unusual for a simple B&B.

The place is out in the countryside outside Sciacca. Not hard to find in daylight with the owner`s directions but less easy at night (satnavs are too easily confused in the area)

Best part is the owner Daniela. her easy charm and relaxed approach to her role are perfectly suited to the style of the place. She speaks limited english (if that is important) but it was not easy to explain the meaning of the song` lady is a tramp` which for some reason she was desperate to understand.     

Breakfasst are good and the patio where they are served is as charming as the rest of the place

Finally, Sciacca was quite a revelation. superbly elevated above the harbour with lots of high promenades for strolling and views. several good quality restaurants and lovely evening atmosphere.  absolutely impossible to navigate through in a car and baffling  street signs. suffice to say that on each of two nights we got completely lost for an hour before suddenly homing back to the B&B by depending on chance and not skill!

quirky and charming B and B

Breakfast at Sotto la Palma is a real pleasure. A wide variety of local products and the sweetest fresh fruit wait for you at the lovely terrace. We stayed in the rather small Mimosa cottage which was clean and cosy. Kind hostess.
