Beautiful structure immersed in the enchanting scenery of the Forest of Val Gardena. Ideal location for access to cable cars or trekking routes. The added value of the stay are the owners, kind, caring and very available.

Trekking and relaxation

Although we had registered at the hotel 3 months before our booking date and wanted to cancel the booking due to Corona, the hotel demanded about a third of the amount.

The hotel was not in a position to pay the agreed price for the cancellation.

We stayed in this building, wife and husband together with daughter and friend. The owners are welcoming, like the structure that is in an excellent position, just a few steps from the center of the village. The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful forest. There is a garden and the possibility of parking the car. Spacious, bright rooms, with balconies, clean, well furnished. The breakfast room is just as bright, really well furnished, plenty of breakfast. The owners are very friendly and ready to provide advice and information. Pay close attention to the Anti-Covid norms. Highly recommended!!!

Kindness and professionalism

I expected a lot from Val Gardena, so it was, amazing places and great reception everywhere.

A vacation to repeat

We were at the bar during the week of August, the facilities were nice, the owners were very kind and recommended the excursions to do, the most suitable means of transportation, the car left in the hotel garage for all the days of our stay, the restaurants and all the recommendations turned out to be excellent.

It's a great stay.

I stayed with my husband for 4 nights. The hotel is in an excellent position compared to the center of the village, just 2-3 minutes walk to shops, pharmacies and other places. Our room had a decent balcony with a table and chairs where we could sit to admire the surrounding mountains and relax after a day spent around. The reception was excellent, the owners were very kind in providing us with a lot of information about the village, simple walks from the various restaurants and excellent tips that we then tried.

Hospitality and Kindness

Spacious room and bathroom, with excellent maintenance and very clean. Large terrace with magnificent mountain views. Buffet with wide choice and strict adherence to anti-Covid hygiene standards. Great value for money. The owners are extremely courteous and always available for information on excursions and more.

Comfort, cleanliness, magnificent view

We are a group of friends who stayed for 3 nights and we all found ourselves very well. The manager immediately made himself very available to advise us and explain to us the paths and excursions we could have done. The rooms are spacious and well furnished (only the bathroom is a little small and the shower a little narrow). The breakfast varies and well provided with typical desserts and salads of the thirties. The perfect location being located not far from the center reachable on foot, with a reserved parking garage and bus stop very close (free tickets for the entire stay provided directly by the hotel).

We stayed here for 3 nights and we couldn’t chose better!!! Accommodation is beautiful. You can see and also smell that it has been reconstructed recently as everything is nice and new! Rooms are small but comfortable with beautiful view on the mountains! Only think we were missing was fridge in the room. 
Breakfast was tasty and we really appreciated the scrambled eggs which you could see were everyday the home eggs with very orange yolk !! They were amazing!! 

Also the owners are very polite and friendly people! They will help you with everything and also will tell you where it worth to go around! 

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been! 

Beautiful accommodation and great location 

Garni Lanzinger is very cozy, atmospheric and at the same time stylish and comfortable. I can highly recommend it to everyone and I will be happy to come back again!
What we liked:
- The room was clean, comfortable, light and stylish, with new furniture and fantastic view directly on the Sella Mountains. The bathroom was also new, very light and with a set of bath accessories. On the balcony there was a table and two chairs, in the evenings you can drink wine overlooking the mountains.
- It was our honeymoon, so we got the room with a decorated bed and probably with the best view of the mountains. Every morning I admired the view from the window! And at the check-in in every room there are also some sweets!
- Wonderful owners – wife and husband, very friendly and always smiling, they provide all the information about the region and they are very attentive to the needs of each client.
- Super breakfasts with vegetables and fruits, berries and nuts, meat and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, croissants, several types of muesli, yoghurts, juices, coffee and tea. Everything was very tasty, fresh and local production.
- When we arrived, it was cold outside and in the room, but the next morning the heating was already turned on.
- At the reception you can get the tickets for public transport not only in Val Gardena, but for entire region (buses and regional trains), the only condition is that you must leave your ticket at the check-out (with the room keys).
- Wi-Fi worked good, not only for checking email, but also for the Skype.
- There is free private parking near the hotel.
- The hotel is decorated in a typical Alpine style with many lovely details, and outside there is a small relax area with sun beds and armchairs.
- There is a ski storage room (in winter) used like a bicycle room (in summer).
- For us the position of the hotel was very good. Almost in the center of Selva di Val Gardena near shops and restaurants, only 15 min by car from fantastic Passo Sella and about 20 min by bus from Ortisei (with a free ticket!) with its cable car to Mount Seceda. But it depends on what you want to see in Val Gardena.
What we did not like:
- The biggest problem of this hotel – there is no bidet, for Italy it’s very-very strange.
- Our bathroom was small, with noisy ventilation (turned on automatically with the light) and there were no hooks for large towels, only for a small right next to the sink (not very comfortable). There were only one portion of shower gel and soap for the whole of stay – very strange for the 3* hotel. 
- Our room was small and without fridge
- There was a small dressing-room at the entry to our room (very useful!) with the light turned on by motion sensor. But it reacted only at the ceiling level, so we had to jump for activate it)))
- At breakfast there was a strange seating system - we couldn’t sit at any free table, the owners said us where to sit (as in restaurants)
- The reception works with 3-4 breaks of the day, so it’s not possible to ask for the information or help non-stop during all the day.
