My husband and had stayed here in 2009 and when we were returning to Siena this April with another couple we decided to return. This small hotel has undergone some major updating and our room this time was not real large but the storage was amazing - best in any of our hotels - so you never felt crowded. You are about 1 km walk from the old walls but this is wonderful after a large dinner and allows for some fresh air. Parking is free and plentiful. Access to Chianti trail is pretty easy. Staff is great - helpful and attentive. Would be happy to supply wine glasses and some snacks when we would return with our latest chianti find. Definitely recommend this hotel and we will stay here again when we are in Siena!
