Great city, great apartment, and the bonus balcony is incredible - we drank our own wine there both nights - cracking bonus!!!

The location was brilliant, being right in the middle of the city, near Ill Campo!

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful - they organised valet parking for us, which was great. 

We will definitely return!

Two nights in Siena

This was probably our favorite place we stayed in Italy.  Very clean, light, spacious and airy rooms (most of the places were rather dark - small windows or windows opening on to another building across a narrow land).  The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful - being there well before the 3 pm checked-in time.  The location is ideal, right in the heart of the old town.

Yes, it is a long hike up 5 or 6 flights of stairs - and these places have 10 or 12 foot ceilings.  But if you’re able to do it, the views are so worth it.  Looking over the rooftops of Siena was magical.  We did not have a car, so we didn’t deal with parking.

Someone mentioned noise.  On this trip we stayed in the old town in Como, Riomaggiore, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Orvieto and Rome. The only place there was no noise at night was Como, because our widows opened onto an air shaft.  Everywhere else  we found nighttime noise is just a fact of life.  There are lots of restaurants and cafes, the locals tend to eat quite late, and the stone walls reflect the sound.  Delivery trucks have to enter these pedestrian-restricted zones at night.  In Florence vendors were pushing their carts to the Mercator Centrale at 5  am, over the cobbles right below our window. 

The view over Siena will be a memory forever.

We didn't even know that this was a B and B when we signed up for our Italian cooking class.
The location was right by the Campo in Siena and is a beautiful B and B
We met our host and straight away into her kitchen. Quaint little Italian kitchen and beautiful dining room.
We got our hands dirty right away mixing the flour for our homemade pasta. Got to knead it , cut it, and roll it out..
While we let it rest , they took us up to their terrace overlooking Siena and we had snacks watching the sunset. Cheese , olives, nuts , fruit, and wine.
Back inside to make the sauce and prepare the pasta for our dinner.
Made garlic toast with tomatoes , pasta with sauce , red wine and it was delicious.
We had desert with a sweet wine and even more cheese.
They showed us some of their rooms which are very nice. This would be a perfect place to stay in Siena.
The family was wonderful and it was a perfect afternoon. The mom's english is good but she doesn't have the confidence to use it so her daughter joined us to help out.
They were both wonderful and very personable.
This is a must do when visiting Siena

They have a stunning view from the balcony so spend some time there, enjoy some wine and buy some snacks and make yourself an Aperitivo!

Nice and friendly owners! They recommended us great spots where to eat and drink!

Will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone!

Beautifully located and managed!

I chose this hotel for the location (in the old city) and the promised views. On both counts it was spot on. Our hosts were so very helpful with our luggage, and the instructions for the parking service were complete and exacting. This parking service is a MUST! I had forgotten about the luggage lift (see pictures) but that worked out well in the end. The rooms are on the 5th floor with no elevator. (They DO have another location across the street with an elevator, which I didn't know about ahead of time.) Even at our age we are in pretty good shape, and it was just for one night, so that wasn't an issue. Really appreciated the help in securing a restaurant reservation at a very popular restaurant that evening.

Views Worth the Steps!

We were there in December, coming back from work at 4 in the night . No heater, no hot water (it was all off). So I catch the flue and had to travel & work with the fever . Thanks a lot.

Beside this hell, the place is nice.

Terrible

I was really disappointed by my stay to this rooms.

1) No elevator at all. 6 floors is difficult to climb.

2) Breakfast:  They claimed to have a huge variety of food, But unfortunately everything was limited and cold from the fridge. we ve been told that everything was fresh and homemade but actually everything was FROZEN PRODUCT. No hot dish at all. No eggs. My wife did not join the breakfast the second day.

3) My room was opposite a night bar. The noise was so loud i couldnt sleep all night.

-Be carefull avoid going on saturdays you will get no sleep.

4) Be carefull for the time of arrival. After 7:30pm the reception is nowhere to be found and you will be charged extra.

5)Cleaning was good especially very kind and polite cleaning lady.

6)On the other hand the Hospitality Manager (i think is also the owner) was very rude and totally not helpful and kind with guests. I can understand the work under pressure, but tourism is not for everyone, people go there to relax, not fight with the tricky lady in front. 

7)In our shared kitchen there were empty pizza boxes and cleaning was inadequate. consequently we could not use the kitchen.

Siena is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful cities i have ever visited. Sometimes, this works as excuse for bad proffesionals for their terrible attitude. Yes, the (shared) balcony view is wonderful, should this be reason to go again? God no, there are plenty of other places with the same view that made me remember SIENA. not this.

VERY BAD MEMORY.

Similar to the previous reviews we followed the instructions for parking, gave our license plate number, dropped off our luggage and are now stuck paying a huge amount in parking fees because of the hotel's mistake. They said they would take care of it at first, but have since stopped responding to us.

Good location, but terrible experience after check out

Staying at Terzi Di Siena was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Because of their poor communication, and misinformation regarding check in/out, we are now stuck paying 250 euros in parking tickets they said they would take care of. The fine print on their site says. “The property is located in a restricted traffic area. Guests can access this area for free for 60 minutes, for loading/unloading of luggage. Please contact the property for further information”.  Following this information, we drove to the property, dropped off the luggage, gave our license plate number to the hotel, (parked out front for no more than 20 mins) and did the same for picking up our luggage. Fast forward 2 months, we receive two tickets from the Siena Police department, totaling $300. This place had given the police station the wrong license plate numbers. Their first response was “No problem, we will take care of this for you” However that did not happen. They did not take care of it, stopped responding to our calls and messages and we are now stuck paying for a $300 ticket. I would not stay here or trust this place, despite the other reviews written."
