We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. We had not hired a car and this property is easily reachable by cab from Siena. The place is just awesome, large with beautiful surroundings. The owner Sonia is very warm and quite responsive to any needs or questions. We made use of the 2 bicycles to explore the farms around. Their own farm/ vineyard is small but the whole area is breathtaking. The host was kind enough to drive us to the supermarket as we did not have a car. She also gifted us a wine bottle as I forgot to carry my own when we reached. Extremely satisfying stay and highly recommended.

The place does not have a microwave and that would be a good addition. Also there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby so it's best to have a car to move around. With a car you can explore the area and nearby villages as well. 

Excellent stay near Siena

The farmhouse was huge with 2 rooms, sitting room and kitchen which accommodated 3 of us easily! All the amenities were perfect, the kitchen was complete as well as bedding towels, shower wash hair dryer and even a Siena city map and some recommendations and beautifully clean. The area is not used for farming anymore but the area has many local farm which makes for a nice morning walk and plenty of space for parking if you need. The directions were accurate and Sonia was great communicating with us throughout our stay! Drive to Siena was around 15 mins and we explored San Gim etc from here as our base.
Oh and there is a washing machine to catch up on your wash and detergent and iron supplied - really helpful. Highly recommended. 

Great communication & fantastic base for a road trip. 

We stayed at this delightful converted farmhouse in late June early July on our first holiday in Tuscany . 
We were greeted by the owner Sonia who made us feel very welcome , along with a welcome pack of home made wine , jam & delicious honey .
The property we stayed in consisted of two large  en suite bedrooms a large kitchen dining room with all utilities & a small tv lounge. 
Outside the garden area had a large table chairs a bbq & various seating areas all with the most fabulous views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside . 
For a small extra charge Sonia provided us with a delicious breakfast of fresh breads ,cheeses , hams , yogurt & jams .
The property is located in a quiet rural area 5 km from Siena and is ideal for visiting Pisa , Florence , Saint Gimignano and many other of this areas fantastic towns , city’s . Along with driving in the beautiful Tuscan countryside .
A final word for Sonia the owner she made us feel so welcome from arrival to leaving and nothing was to much trouble for her .
We would definitely recommend this lovely farmhouse and we will definitely be returning !

A fabulous holiday in Siena / Tuscany 

We just spent three nights at Podere Camollia and couldn't have been more happy with our choice.  Sonia is so very helpful and a great hostess.  The bottle of wine and the jar of honey provided for us at the beginning of our stay was a really sweet touch.  The spacious apartment is very well equipped and extremely comfortable...as are the beds.  Sonia even went out of her way to help us find our next accommodation.  The house is located close to Siena for easy access yet in the beautiful countryside.  It was so perfect we will have to come back and spend more time there.  Grazie Sonia per sua hospitalita! Wonderful, wonderful place to stay!

We just recently returned from a week long stay at this property right outside Siena which we shared with my sister and brother in law. It was a perfect location for touring around Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti region. It's about 15 minutes in to Siena and 10 minutes to a large grocery store, cafe, etc. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with fruit trees,a vineyard and a gazebo to sit out in the evening. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment includes a full kitchen and comfortable living room. There is a washer and racks for drying clothes in the sun. 
We were lucky enough to be there during grape harvest and were invited by the lovely owner, Sonia, to help out and then to have an amazing harvest lunch with the family. She really made us feel welcome, with a bottle of wine from their vineyard and honey, which she bottles from her bees. Very comfortable property and a nice quiet retreat from sightseeing.

Peaceful and perfect

We had a pleasure to stay at Agriturismo Podere Camollia in October 2013. It was a really great time. Everything was perfect ... the apartment, location, views. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We really enjoyed our time, and would love to return someday.

Excellent

In September 2012, my friends and I rented the two bedroom apartment at Agriturismo Podere Camollia for ten days. It was the most relaxing tiime ever. Sonia, the host was soooooooo welcoming and helpful. Nothing was a problem for her. The apartment was immaculately cleaned, modern with comfortable furniture inside and out. We slept under the apricot trees, and ate copious amounts of sun ripened figs, pears, plums and grapes, all of which were at our finger tips whenever we wanted. We were even given home made jams, honey and wine from our host Sonia. The apartment is trully five minutes away by bus from the historical and shopping centres of Siena. The bustop is literally outside the door of the apartment! The most spectacular views were just outside our door. I will definitely be going back again, and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to my family and friends. Well done Sonia!!!
