We had a great stay at B&B Aura. It's 5- 7 mins walk away from the train station, very easy to reach, the building is new, clean and colorful, the room was quite big, very clean, with new furniture, a great matress, a nice, clean bathroom with all the facilities (shower gel, hair drier, 3 types of towels, etc). There is free wifi. The center can be easily reached in ~10 mins by foot. The host was extremely nice, he greated us with coffee and candies and gave us directions and maps. The price was fair - 65 e per night for a double room (60 + 5 for the city tax). A friend reccommended it to us and I recommend it too!

Great stay

I stayed for 4 nights. The guy at the reception (I think it's the owner) was very helpfull with everything. Althrough they don't offer a breakfast / eating area they do provide a shared refrigerator. Cofee is free every morning. 

Good hotel for the money

The location of the hotel is just outside the walls of the historic center of Sienna. If you are traveling by car you can park in the public road just outside the hotel. The reception was friendly and helpful. The room was basic, large, comfortable and really clean. We totally recommended it for a decent stay in Sienna. Finally, it may be hard to find if you don't know how the building looks like. It should have a bigger sign outside.

Great budget hotel

I stayed here for 1 night and was very happy with everything! My friend came with me to check in and we both offered coffee upon arrival. The building is very modern, the room was impeccably clean. I didn't get the guys name at the desk but he was very helpful, answerinf our questions and with a map and printed directions to the town centre.

I paid €35 for the night and had a double room en-suite all to myself - excellent value! 15 min walk in one direction to train station and 15 min walk in the other direction to the town centre.

My only minor gripe was the checkout time of 10am - the extra hour in the morning makes all the difference! However the room had been ready for me at 12pm when I arrived so I can't complain :)

I would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent!!

We walked from the train station with large suitcases, it's pretty doable even though a bit uphill. The owner is friendly, made us an espresso and recommended places to eat. The location is so-so, close to the train station but the main bus station is very difficult to get to with luggage. The room was ok, bathroom also but could do with some shelves to put stuff on. We had a room next to the reception and what bothered us was the light from outside at night, there was a very bright strip light just outside the window which the curtains didn't quite block. Breakfast options close by not great, just a pasticceria about 5 mins walk. Otherwise no issues, for Siena the price was pretty affordable, and it's all newly build, wifi worked well.
