We would give Maison Tofani 10 stars if we could! The location was perfect - just steps away from shopping, great restaurants, bars and we could walk to the Marina to catch a ferry or to the train station in minutes. The room is the most spacious we have EVER stayed in Europe and even large by US standards (to compare, we stayed in Rome in an upscale Marriott and the room was nowhere close to our room at Maison Tofani). The breakfast was incredible each morning and the service provided by Francesco was stellar - he even prepared us our coffee early one morning when we had an early start and were going to miss breakfast. The breakfast here is not to be missed - especially all the fresh baked pastries! All of the staff were especially attentive - for example, when our driver dropped us off he directed us down the wrong street (the hotel is in a pedestrian zone) after walking for several minutes and getting lost, we called the hotel and they immediately walked over and personally accompanied us to the hotel and offered to carry our suitcase. Book this hotel - it is beautiful, charming and the perfect home base for your visit to the Amalfi Coast!!
