We will never forget our stay at Casa a Mare. We had such a lovely welcome and the choice of two rooms. We chose Room 1 which had a small balcony big enough for two people overlooking the picturesque Marina Grande. We had stayed at Marina Grande three times before, but never at this accommodation.
It was a real treat to enter the front door under the pre-Roman archway to the marina. 
Our room was on the third floor (I think) which gave us a great view.
It was very hot (July/August), but the room was very clean and roomy with a fridge and air con that worked perfectly.
Breakfasts on the terrace above were varied, homely and at our chosen time.
Our hosts were so nice and friendly and did everything to make sure we were happy.
We would thoroughly recommend staying there for as long as possible to use it as a base to visit Amalfi and the Bay of Naples attractions.
We had traveled from England to Sorrento entirely by train (5 trains/2 days) and it was well worth it.
We will always remember the amazing fireworks, fab views, great food (eating mainly at Taverna Azzura da Gennaro in the Marina) and just soaking up life at the Marina Grande - the best part of Sorrento!

Stay here!

We had the most incredible stay in Casa a mare and will definitely return. Beautiful views and the family were very friendly and accommodating.  This was our second visit to sorrento and this was an amazing place to stay. The family were so welcoming and made the stay even more special. Our room was clean, modern and the balcony view was so picturesque. My partner proposed to me on the balcony with the sunset and seaview and it was the most special place! We couldn’t have asked for more from our hosts. Lovely home cooked breakfast on a lovely terrace and we were made to feel part of the family whilst still having privacy as a couple. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Beautiful stay

Wonderful place. Such friendly, warm and caring staff. The best location in Marina Grande! Very comfortable room, spotlessy clean and room service daily. 
There's coffee and cookies available all day and the breakfasts are delicious,  varied and served fresh according to your schedule, on the roof top terrace.  The views are spectacular and we watched the sunset every night.  There are a few good restaurants and main town Sorrento is a 15 minute walk. An unforgettable experience,  thank you for everything. 

Magical 

I stayed at Casa a Mare in May, 2022 during my honeymoon in Italy, and that was certainly a great choice. Roberta was extremely friendly from the beginning, gave us great recommendations and, as the weather was not perfect for the terrace, personally brought a delicious breakfast to our room every day. The view from our balcony was probably one of the best ones we could get in the city, I could just stay there for hours admiring the sunset or everything going on at Marina Grande, which was also our favorite corner in Sorrento. The three restaurants right downstairs are just INCREDIBLE (we tried a different one every day and I really recommend doing that). The room we stayed in had been recently renovated and was very charming and cozy. I would highly recommend this property for couples, but do ask for the room with the balcony and the Marina View, you won't regret it. Thank you, Roberta, for your hospitality and kindness.
