Stayed 7 nights, fabulous breakfast, with lots of choice, looked like you could order / ask for fried eggs. Very friendly owners and staff, some good advice and information from the 2 sisters who own and run the hotel. A little bit out of town, and doesn't have the ability to walk into town, as you have to walk on the road for a while, before any footpath starts. Very clean, some nice sitting areas for relaxing and a glass of wine. Room was large with a good size balcony overlooking the lake. The room felt a bit stark!! and with no shower curtain, you had to sit in the bath for a hand held shower. There is a bus stop more or less right outside the hotel, and it cost 2 euro's, runs roughly ever hour, except at night and the last back to the hotel was around 7.30. We have to drive into Stresa, and parking was sometimes an issue....finding a parking spot.
