I had some trouble finding the place, nobody seemed to be able to know the location, so I had to call up a taxi. The host was not available at once, at the reception, and I had to wait. The room was nice, only without a sea view. Taormina is a good place to stay for people with cars, otherwise the sea is far below and hard to reach on foot. Buses are rare. It was July 2017. I came there for a concert of Robert Plant at the amphitheater but could not hear anything from outside as it is very well hidden behind massive walls, and was disappointed.

A stay in Taormina

I don't know what the people below are talking about.. We didn't have a nice stay in this appartment. The appartment was old (the furniture also) and the lady from the appartmen didn't speak English. We haven't had breakfast at all?! While they said it was included.. The lady made us clear that we could buy breakfast for €3 per person and give her the receipt of every day. She gave us the name of a bar where we could eat breakfast. It turned out that a cappuccino costs €3.. So how can we have breakfast for €3? Next to that they just sold croissants and drinks at the bar. 

The last day we waited for 1 hour to check out!! And there was still nobody there?! So we left without seeing someone, because we needed to go to the train station. Because of this we couldn't give the receipts of the "breakfast". We sended a copy of the tickets by mail, a few times and they never responded.

Positive things: The appartment was clean and nearby the Porta Messina.

The location is great and the rooms are nice and tidy. Furthermore, the owner is a very friendly and helpful woman. Breakfast in a restaurant nearby is included and is nice as well. We really enjoyed our (affordable) stay.

Great value for money

positive:
great location, fantastic terrace, comfortable bed and really nice and helpful staff 
negative:
steep, narrow staircase (75 stairs) dirty, worn bathroom, poor breakfast. Parking is expensive. Annoyingly useless internet

I have stayed in B&B Danuzza for two nights in June 2015, it was a very nice accommodation, I had a beautiful view on the city from the balcony, it is very close to the main street, but offering quiet atmosphere, the room and bathroom were clean and the host amazing, very helpful and we talked a lot! :) I enjoyed staying at this place, especially because I was by myself and needed a safe place to stay.

I will definitely recommend it, considering the average prices for accommodation in Taormina, this is a very good deal!
