I would highly rate and recommend this guest house it's clean spacious and the host is very welcoming and very obliging. The breakfast  was very nice and plenty of it. The sea views are amazing from the balcony and you can see Italy from the distance. It's only a two minute walk to all amenities like shops cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the beach. This accommodation is great value for your money and I would highly recommend booking it for your stay in taormina. ☺ ☺ ☺ 

The dolphin guest house highly recommended 

Booked a double and a single room here. The location is perfect for the shops bars and restaurants.
It is located down a small side street so it is fairly quiet . Any noise is that of small scooters or the locals chatting.
The hosts are superb and very friendly. They cannot do enough for you.
Breakfast is a continental style with ham, different local cheeses, tomatoes, assortment of local breads and of course the Sicilian sweet pastries.
Antonella the host asks you what time you would like your breakfast and she then prepares it for the given time which was a nice touch.
The dining room overlooks the bay and the cable cars to Isola Bella which was great.
We would definitely return here if we do a future visit to Taormina.

Very Welcoming

Booked 7 nights here on the top floor (self-contained apartment with HUGE terrace and sea views). The location is perfect- a few minutes walk to the cable cars, bus station and 2 minute walk to the Corso Umberto while being far enough away from the noise to relax. The owner was so lovely. She greeted us at midnight and gave us maps giving us valuable information about the local area and tourist sites. The apartment included free use of beach towels, coffee, tea and even some sweets and cakes. The bathroom had toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/hairdryer readily available. Even novels, parasols and umbrellas to use when needed. This room has air con too so added bonus! Can't recommend this place enough, would definitely stay here again. We were also able to leave our cases there for 8 hours after check out which was really handy. 

Hidden gem 

We stayed several nights at the Dolphins Guest House. The location was in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. We had picturesque views from the salon and the balcony of the salon. The street view from our room was pleasant. 

The owners were very helpful and nice. They gave us guidance on restaurants, sights, tours, and getting around town. 

There is a little kitchen so we were able to make coffee and put some items in the fridge. 

If returning to Taormina I would stay here again. It was a good stay. There is no air conditioning but we were ok without it in the first few days of June.

Bery pleasant stay

My 2 friends, my husband and I had reserved rooms with this hotel.  Our planes to Auckland arrived early the morning after our reservation, and our friends had to wait to rent a car to drive to this hotel.  In addition there was a storm.  All of this was emailed to the hotel as soon as we had internet, but after our reservation.  MY FRIENDS RECEIVED THEIR REFUND-I WAS REFUSED!!!!!!  Absolutely the worst customer service since we had no way to get there!

If there was a -1 rate mine would be that!

We had the double room with its own little balcony. The room and en suite were spotless. Amazing views from the main sitting room. Antonella the owner was lovely and a mine of information. The guest house is situated in a very central position with easy walk to bus station  cable car and shuttle. Just a few minutes walk to Corso Umberto. Bakery on the corner , deli nearby and amazing cannoli shop and gelateria. Would definitely stay at the Dolphins again in fact I'd like to live there !!
