Hotel Villa Schuler 

Last August / September we again visited beautiful Taormina and stayed in Hotel Villa Schuler for the 8th time. As always, we were amazed by professional and friendly service, fantastic hotel location and amenities. Located a bit away from the main street Hotel Villa Schuler is an oasis of calmness but at the same time it's just a few steps uphill to "all that jazz" at Corso Umberto. Through all past years we travelled extensively around the island of Sicily visiting Palermo, Cefalu, Ragusa, Modica, Syracuse, the Eolian Islands, savouring local cuisine in many trattorias and tasting superb Etna wines in local wineries. These activities would not be possible without help and advice from knowledgeable and professional members of the Hotel Villa Schuler team. First class a'la carte breakfast with a breathtaking Mount Etna view, served on the palm terrazza would not be that memorable without attentive service and the morning welcome smile from the "breakfast team". Hotel's signature drinks or our favorite Negroni would not taste that good if not prepared by experienced and passionate cocktail mixer Marco. Both of us being involved in the "green" movement as LEED professionals we truly appreciated the hotel's great efforts towards sustainability, preserving our environment and ecology. It's so important nowadays but unfortunately so overlooked or ignored by too many. My late mother had her favourite vacation place in the Polish mountains and she visited it more that 40 times. There is no way we can compete with her number but we are trying and therefore we have already booked 2026 Sicilian vacation and unforgettable time spent with our friends from Hotel Villa Schuler.
