BEDBUGS BEDBUGS!!!!!! We discovered the bugs 5 days into our stay and first the staff was helpful but when we asked for a refund she stopped replying and after a while accused us of blackmailing because we said we would write an honest review…. All she did after the discovery was to buy a new bed and spray some bug killer spray but everyone that know about bedbugs know that that’s not enough to get rid of them… She also accepted new guests while knowing about the problem in rooms that were just a few meters from the infested room. There was also problem with WiFi, there was no seaview in any of the rooms which was promised. The place where you get your keys and your breakfast is also about a 5 min walk from the room which was a bit inconvenient. I would never recommend anyone this place it was the worst experience of my life.

I write this review with serenity, since I confronted the owner in a voice and I also got a refund from Booking. The room simply did not match what I had paid: they put an overpriced price for the sea view, and when I complained that the view was on a building, I was answered arrogantly that Italian is important and the sea view does not mean sea view: in fact, coming out of the balcony I could get through a piece of the canal that divides the old town. Which I took in!! The second mistake is the breakfast: I paid 7.50€ and I don't know what to say, but at the bar where I was serving Benevo I was told that I could get a pasta and a cup of coffee or a bad coffee, because they had received 2.50€ from the booking, and after they had seen the structure and the fact that they were not working, I could not get through the room.

One mockery after another

A large and bright room with a very small bathroom like the one you can find inside a train. Bathroom without liquid soap or soap to wash your hands (which in times of covid becomes even more essential and important), sound without adapter, tremendous noise from the bathroom every time you turn on the tubes, so much noise to disturb the other person, who is sleeping in the room.

What a horror... save whoever can!

We stayed in this facility for one night to go to the button the next day, we arrived at 10:30 p.m. wasting a lot of time to find parking. The room lacked chairs, the bathroom was very narrow, the shower had the handle that disassembled in the hands, when I opened the running water in the pipes I heard a noise of a tyranny.

Never again.

We probably didn't read about booking this little detail: the bathroom needs to be shared with other families. I wondered and asked the owner if this was in line with current anti-covid regulations. I only got arrogant and stiff replies. Too bad.

Shared bathroom in the Covid era

The very nice and cozy structure, beautiful colors for all the rooms, breakfast kindly offered by the lady at a nice nearby bar where the cornetts were really good! For the rest zero total, we were 6 girls and we had no receipt for payment, the power went out often and the first night we found dust, hair and stains on the sheets, we had to scrape everything out at 4:00 in the morning after realizing that one of our friends was allergic! Taranto is obviously beautiful, I would recommend it to everyone.

Reviews of the Commission

The B&B is located in the center of Taranto, near the rotating bridge that connects the new city to the old city. The room is located inside an apartment on the fourth floor. In total the B&B has 3 rooms, named by different colors (blue, green and orange). The orange room has the bathroom in the room, the other two share an outdoor bathroom. One of my friends and I stayed in the green room. The room was very well maintained, with all the comforts and a nice double bed, air conditioning and TV. In the common areas there is a small kitchen essential (although there were some things missing, type of towels, more flattened, etc.).

Good experience.

I've got a flat bed that literally broke my back in two, no toothpaste and soaps, a completely empty kitchen, but very clean and well organized.

Optimal position, friendly owner, but all the rest not.

All in all, the services were good, but the low vote was due to the payment because the structure cost 35 euros and after making the payment the owner went back and claimed 5 euros more saying that we had given only 30 euros because obviously, distracted, she lost the 5 euros already given earlier.

Staying one night for two

We stayed for one night in this colorful room in this BeB. We were in 8, the extra beds were for children, comfortable There's everything inside, even the professional phon 😉but the most beautiful thing was the balcony on the side of Via Pitagora with chairs and a table, allowing you to admire the small sea.
