Al Campanaro Bed & Breakfast

I have been to “Al Campanaro” B&B a couple of months ago, for the grape harvest season and I have been there for two nights. I liked the location the most because the B&B is located in the heart of the historical village and close to the Castel (about 20 meters) where I could go for a wine tasting session and a tour. Actually, to get in the main street (almost an old lane) you need to pass through the main entrance of the old Castel, very suggestive I must say. The owner, Alessandro, is a lovely guy, passionate for his town and its beauties and the wine that they produce. He told me that he bought the old house because of the ancient cellar and then he converted first and second floor in the actual B&B. You will be able to see the ancient cellar and the precious bottle of wine, safely closed by a gate. Alessandro, also, gave me a few tips on where to go and what to do wile in town. The breakfast is not at the B&B, but I could make myself a coffee and go the nearest bar for a nice cappuccino e croissant included in the room price. My room was warm and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet is on the floor and it was very clean and tidy. The room had air-conditioning but I didn’t use it. The place is very quiet and I had no problem to fall asleep (too much wine maybe :D). During the night I could hear just a few cats fight. In the morning when I woke up and I walked to the Bar, the village was busy, and I loved to be at that B&B because it launched me in the village life. It was Sunday morning and a few ladies were prying in the 15mq chapel 2 lane down the B&B. If you go to Taurasi (or the hinterland), I reckon this would be a good choice. Good quality, reasonable price, excellent location, good breakfast, neat and clean room and bathroom. Cozy sharing area.
