We stayed for 5 nights from just after Christmas to just after new year and had booked dinner, bed and breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located next door to a ski hire shop and only 40 to 50 metres away from bus stops which will take you further up the valley. There is free parking for one hour at the adjacent carpark from where you can access the hotel without going outside. There is free and unlimited long term free parking 5 minutes away by foot. It has a great heated ski store area, large games room, nice bar, a nice lounge area close to reception, a large restaurant and good sized eating drinking conservatory just off the bar. The rooms were very nicely furnished and a very good size. They were immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. It is a family run hotel and they are very hard working people who take great pride and joy in the hotel and their business. It was evident throughout our stay that they really wanted us to have a fantastic stay with them. The food was absolutely first class. It just kept coming course after course and it was all freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. We don't speak Italian but there were enough of the staff who spoke good English that it was not a problem. All in all, a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location run by some of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. Thank you for our fantastic stay.

Fantastic late Christmas and early new year stay

The hotel owner and staff helped me arrange my wedding in Temu, the location was at a Biata on the mountain.  We had 45 people stay at the hotel Avio over a range of different days, everyone was happy with the hotel and service they had.  The ladies all enjoyed the Spa at the hotel which is a lovely relaxing facility.  The food the hotel prepared on the mountain was brilliant and the staff worked exceptionally hard to ensure everyone was catered for.  A massive thank you and needless to say I strongly recommend the Hotel Avio for both summer and winter.

Excellent Service and arrangements

Hotel Avio in Temu is a brilliant location for skiing in the resorts of Temu, Ponte di Legno and Tonale - all are linked by lift.
The rooms are clean and tidy with lovely showers, Sky TV and all the required - with comfy beds.
The Hotel offers very friendly service from reception through to the bar and dinning area.  The food is good and not over complicated, with the service in dinning and kitchen exceptionally fast and efficient.
The wellness centre is amazing, just what is needed for the after ski relax it is well worth the extra - so is the massage if you need one!
Well worth a look in both winter and summer lots to do in the area

GREAT HOTEL

We Stayed in the hotel avio last week. I have to say that the hotel and its staff are lovely. 
The hotel and its facilities were pretty good and offered a decent room with sky Tv and a fantastic shower room. The rooms do however run out of hot water very quickly. Beware of having your shower too late. The slopes close at 4.30 by the time all the ski groups are back, say 5.30 onwards, all the hot water is running low. 

I would definitely return to the avio as it is perfect for anyone wanting to sleep, eat and ski!!

The owner of the avio, Beppe, also owns the rododendem restaurant right at the foot of the ski slopes in passo tonale and it seems like its a family affair. The workers are at the hotel in the morning, serving lunch at the slopes in the day and then serving dinner at the avio at night. Very hard working!!

Decent hotel for the price

Came on a school trip first arrived dirty and yellow walls,bunk beds nearly falling down,bathroom tap water brown,on the fourth night the shower door fell and shattered on a roommate and nearly everybody got food poised from the bad food which was used as leftovers each night
